I know, most of use spread our life around a lot of different places but what I'm really asking is where do you spend most of your time?
These last few months I've spent most of my time in the garden (photo of my garden attached). I love gardening and although it is a lot of work I feel at peace and happy there. I feel blessed to be able to spend most of my time in a place a enjoy.
So, how about you? Where do you spend most of your time? Is it a happy place? Do you feel your life is full spending time there? If you would rather spend more of your time some place else where would that be?

Literally, I've live my life all around the philippines and some spots in asia.Because of my husbands work, we move a lot. He doesnt like the idea that we stay put in our house and wait for him every other week end to come home. So we move with him and now, he still flies every other week end.LOL.
My life now is always in the beach. Our house is around 300 meters away froma beach resort. And in the Philippines, it is summer here the whole year round. Hot hot hot.We snorkel a lot. You can check some of my pics here. You'll see that I've live my life for my family. I am a reading specialist.I do reading intervention for reading difficulties for 6 years old to 10. So I can just work anywhere I go, but basically my life is for my family.
I like your garden very much. I have a garden too in the farm my husband bought 8 years ago. We have caretakers there while we are away. I hope you can see the pictures of my life...if you have a friendster account, I'd like to share my life too...add me to friendster, chingbeem@yahoo.com,

Oh I do love my garden but would give it up in a heart beat for a place at the beach - I love the water, any kind - lake, river, stream, ocean. Your works sounds wonderful - rewarding knowing you are helping others.

Oh I'm sorry to hear about the geese - we lost 2 baby chicks last week, they were only a week old but Mom brought them out with the 'general population' and some older chickens killed them. Afraid we've lost many this year to raccoons but I was particularly attached to these two because they were the first and only ones that have been hatched from eggs right here on our mini-farm.

For the past 4 months I have spent most of my time at home, either out in the yard, on the computer, but mostly doing what I love, scrapbooking. I even sold 3 scrapbooks this summer. I love scrapbooking because I can either put on some music or watch a movie while I'm doing it. I also love working on layouts, and doing the journaling. If I had my choice, I would have been spending most of my time at work, for the forestry service, but was put on medical leave due to an injury to my wrist/hand. So, since I can't work at the moment, I have been spending most of my time doing what I like and I am happy when I am scrapbooking.

Oh I've known a lot of people that spend a lot of time scrapebooking - I've never gotten into it myself but not sure why, I love doing just about all kinds of crafts. I didn't know you could sell scrapbooks.

Oh what a neat idea - I'm sure there were several mothers who really appreciated your work and in years the girls have something very special to remember their younger years.

I offered the scrapbooks to a girl's softball team. I was at their games, practices, and scrimmages, so I took all the pictures, and then put together a individual scrapbook for each girl that ordered it, highlighting their participation on the team. It was a lot of fun to do and get paid lol.

I spend a lot of my time in my office, rain or shine, summer or winter. I work online, and sometimes I feel as if I'm chained to the computer.
I do spend some time out of doors, but after a little gardening, there's not much to do outside but sit and watch the grass grow.
My ideal place would be a small house out in the country with an acre or so, where I could do what I wanted to. I'd be outside a lot more, I'm sure.

LOL - I too make most of my living 'online' but am blessed to be able to take my computer outside and work there sometimes :) I am afraid winter will be coming soon though and I'll be stuck in the house again for months.

I spend most of my time either working with my garden or working on my crafts. I try to divide my time between them some days I do well others not so well. I am now starting classes again for my job so I have to factor in that time also. Then of course there is the housework and all that stuff too. Is it any wonder I am tired??

LOL - you sound like me, I just can't understand why I'm always tired until I set down and list everything that I do. I have way to many things on my to-do-list I never get them all done. By the way, I still have your site open in another window and keep jumping over there looking around - I love your crafts, all of them. I have a few polymer clay things but they are garbage compaired to yours.

Hi Faith... Wow! that's a beautiful garden. You have a green thumb as the saying goes. Though gardening is not my hobby, i like viewing the greeneries of plants, trees, and flowering plants. It's cool to the eyes.
Well, I spend most of my time in the office where I work. So far I like my work coz its exciting and interesting for me, although I find it monotonous now. Before going home from office, I usually pass by a mall. When at home after the house chores, I am usually at the bedroom watching tv or doing karaoke singing or on the computer.
As to your last question where I would rather spend more of my time... well, if I don't have any office work, I would be happy to spend my time and be with my hubby, coz my hubby is working overseas. If its possible, I also like to tour some countries in Europe with my family (hubby and sons).

I do love gardening and have had a lot of work this year getting this garden going but hopefully next year (if I'm still living here) it won't be so much work. When I'm not working in the garden though I still love being outside while the weather is good.
I feel so out of touch with my friends here - I didn't know your hubby was overseas has he been gone long?

Let me put it this way. I am a career business man. So, I spend most of my time at work, that means, my office, business meetings, seminars, conferences, travelling on business trips. That is very tiring no doubt ! I rarely get holidays !
Have a nice time !

When I am home, I spend most of my time in the computer room. Have everything I need in here and it's the only room I allow myself to smoke inside the house. Have an extra bed in here, computer, television, police scanner and loads of crafts hanging out under the bed. This is a very peaceful place for me since my husband hogs the master bedroom with the remote the entire evening. I'd rather watch television in here where I can watch a complete program without it being changed constantly..lol
When I am gone from home, I spend alot of time playing Keno at one of the local casinos. I can relax and enjoy the game itself. Then there are other times I go to work, sit outside on the patio overlooking the golf course and watch the people play golf.

I spend a lot of time writing in my living room next to my computer and TV. I have so much work to finish sometimes I spend 5 to ten hours sitting in the same place. I know I need to do my work, but I also feel like I need to go out, get inspiration elsewhere, and be an active person. Ideally, I would love to buy a laptop so I could work outside or in a cafe. But it's a money issue.

There's like over four discussions in this post. LOL. I love my garden too and our trees are finally creating some shade. That only took three years. Father has been wonderful and built us three gazebos which have their own hanging plants and shade. It is very peaceful back there and it's where I do most of my daily reading and writing. I haven't done much planting lately but I'll get going soon.

Most of the time I am at my computer, but not really, it seems my life is ressolved when I am not in bed, around the computer, in the living/dining room, in the kitchen, and going with my husband for his appointments with the therapists. I am lucky I get enough time to pick some berries or pull some weeds or mow the lawn. But I do find time for a walk. I do love walking, it makes me feel so nice and i can see the beautiful flowers, and the trees as I go along the sidewalk.

what a great question and discussion topic.
well, when i clock the hours, I realise that i spend most of my time in front of a computer or at work. i guess i am at a stage in my life when that is just what i do. of course i would prefer spending the bulk of my day doing meaningful stuff, u dunno, helping the poor, working for World Vision, being a missionary in a third world country, that would also earn me a living. however, unfortunately, it is easier said than done. all these family obligations and whatnot...
great to hear that you love gardening and are able to spend most of your 'life' there though!

Hi There Byfaithonly,
Well honestly if would have the choice i would like to spend my life surrounded by trees and flowering plants too. I envy you, you got a huge garden. But with my busy lifestyle, i mean as a working wife, i'm spending most of my time in the office where i work as Accountant. To be honest, at times i really feel bored and would do some other enjoyable things like being in a quiet place surrounded by nature and hearing the sound wave of the air added with the chirping birds around. HOpefully before i retire i would be in the that place i imagine as solitude as it is.
Happy Myloting! Have a great day.

I spend most of my time at my business. It was a life long dream, to own a company that would serve as a vehicle for a better life for me and my family. It was my dream to be able to offer a service to people that would be part of making there dreams a reality. My dream was to do this by a particular date, and with my faith in God and many years of preparation and hard work, I was able to do it on the exact date that I had envisioned many years before.
Its a lot of hard work, but I love it and I love the people that I service. I would do it for free!
