how do you loose weight?

i've been trying to loose weight for almost a month now, although i am not fat or obese i still want to loose the little weight that i gained these past few months. i take a walk every after dinner since i was told that it could help us loose weight fast. i fail to do some exercise in the morning and well, uhm i eat a bit much. :). sometimes I'm thinking of taking weight loss capsule but I'm afraid of its side effects. so can anyone suggest some weight loss tips for me?

I don't reco taking weight loss pills or weight loss capsules. These may work at first, but eventually all the weight will come back. And you're right, there are possible side effects and one does not know how bad it can be. The best way to lose weight is to exercise regularly and to eat healthy stuff. It may not be easy, but you can expect good long-term results.

I would suggest trying to do other things first before trying any weight loss capsules. how about trying to find a friend or family member who is willing to try and loose a few pounds and do it together? this way you can give each other encouragement if its needed and also give each other tips on whats working best for each of you. how about joining the gym? or doing a different type of exercise like water aerobics or something similar. i would also suggest trying, instead of reducing your appetite, try and each healthy snacks instead of ones high in fat and sugar. good look
