Do you like rain?

I love rain. It is so easy to sleep when you can hear the rain falling. But sometimes, there is too much rain. It has kind of been that way this week. FAY has really affected our weather here. It started raining early Saturday night and has been raining ever since. Right now, it's only sprinkling, but it is supposed to rain again today. It is still dark looking outside and it's after 9AM. Our ground is already soaked. I looked out the back windows last night while it was raining and we literally had a lake in our back yard! It doesn't take too long for it to disappear when it finally stops, but it sure makes a mess in your yard. Have you had any of this rain from FAY?

oh yes the sound of the rain pitter patter on your rooftop. It is great.
I love sitting in front of the windows just watching the rain.
But I be scared with the lake in your back yard, I cannot swim it makes me worry since my kids cannot swim too.
Oh and the snakes, I hope they don't find their way to your house with so much rain.

Yes rain is great if it does not build up too much.
Looks like you got lots of rain this year.
I don't remember seeing rain for a long time out here.
Hope rain comes soon because my grass really needs some rain.

It wasn't a literal lake, just a lake of water made by the heavy rains. As quick as the rains stopped, the water disappeared. But it really builds up in our back yard and in the ditches in the front across the yard that flows down into the pasture when it rains like this. Don't know why the water builds up on our property like it does. It's not like our entire yard is flat because it isn't.

We are also getting rain again from Fay. It really rained hard last night. It was filling the street out in front of the house. We have had it again this evening and we are getting a lot of lighting and thunder along with it. We are also under a tornado watch. I live to listen to the rain and the lighting and thunder. I like to watch the lighting and ir spreads across the sky especially at night. WE have been under a drought situation this summer but I think that is over now. But then here where I live the ground is pretty much just sandy.

Yes, i like rain,specially at night because its so cool,comfortable and i can sleep well when its raining!!!You know here in the philippines, so warm and every time i take a bath i will always feel uncomfortable...

I love the rain only at night.. It's so relaxing and it really helps to sleep.. Have you ever seen green clouds at night while raining? it's very weird..
