So i log in into my mylot account today and post a new discussion and realised that my star rating has gone down from 9 to 8
.
This is the first time i have had my star rating going down and i wonder why because i haven't changed anything i do here on mylot and i was working so hard hoping it would increase. I wonder if there is someone rating me down deliberately

Have you recently had your star rating going down without knowing the root cause of it as well. I really find it frustrating and interesting at the same time.

Don't feel let down buddy. These things can happen. Yesterday before logging of, I checked my rating to be 9 star with score of 92/100. After reading your post, when I checked my score it came down to 87/100. Even I'm looking down the barrel now. But there's nothing we can do about it. Some people may not share your views and may not like what you post, leading to a negative remark for your post which eventually leads to star rating coming down. So, just cheer up. Your rating is still better than most people here. Here, I'm giving you a '+' for this discussion. Hope your star rating moves up in a day.

Thanks for the plus rating and the encouragement, i thought it isn't that easy for ones rating to go down but since there are always others who won't think in the same line as you, you may just downgrade in your star rating. I will try to post even more qualitative and positive posts so i can recover my rating and even go up as well. well, have a nice day!

My rating plummeted when I started asking the people posting about making a fortune on the internet for some proof of their claims. Apparently they did not like that.

Hi bigtom
my star rating did drop once, and it was because of something I said. but after a while it went back to normal. I just try to answer question and something I also give my opinion, which I guess some people don't care for. It could also be that when someone is reading your post they dont rate you. And that is another thing I do, I rate the post. have a great day.

i will keep doing what i do so my star rating goes up again, i can see you now have Star 10 rating, just what i'm aiming for. Its really appauling there are some mebers here who would do such things just because you have opposite views. well, have a good day!

well dont lose your enthusiasm mate someone may not like what you wrote and gave you negative rating thats why anyway these kind of things happen sometimes just dont lose your enthusiasm and keep on writing i m sure you will fix that within days , just keep on writing , anyway happy mylottings

Thanks for the encouragement and i will keep up what i'm currently doing. Just hope there are not a lot of people who rate others negative just because of opposing views as that is not a criteria for rating someone. Just hope my rating will go up again.
