money won is twice as sweet as money earned

Hi ya skenthal I do not agree with that either. You get so much more gratification from earning money that you have worked hard for than simply winning it on a whim!

Exactly, why would it be sweet to win money. If that is the case you don't have the feeling of accomplishing something. I would rather be able to say "This money is from the sweat of my brow." Not "Oh look I got money." I believ eyou cheat yourself if you consider money won is sweeter than money earned. [i](disclaimer) If I win money I will not turn it down. That to would be foolish. :)[/i]

I believe money earned is sweeter money because not only do you feel you have accomplished something, but also because you did the work to receive it. I also believe that if one actually earns their money they have more of a sense of how to spend it wisely. Although that is NOT the case with every individual. As one grows older and more mature they realize how much certain things cost that they can live without. Winning money is fun and can be exciting, but if I did win a substantial amount, I would blow it before spending wisely. I certainly wouldn't turn it down either.
