I stay in India and was pretty surprised at how much it costs - Rs. 31000 - 36000 for a new iphone. It is provided by Airtel and Vodafone and has some goodies with the service provider. I thought it would be much cheaper. This works out to be about 800 - 900$.

Here in the Philippines, the service provider is Globe and it costs around 40 thousand philippine peso..it's way too much for me but i would like to have one eventually..But will wait it out til the price has gone way down..So, i could afford it
