update on my experience with the new birth control

Hi everyone. Awhile ago I started a discussion asking for advice on a birth control being that I had not been on it for over 10yrs. Well, I went to my doc, and she said to try Loestin 24. She told me it was the latest and greatest and it was supposed to give you shorter periods. I read up about it before I took it and saw the side effects it can have but I figured I was fine before taking birth control (not this one) I would be fine now. Well, I took it for 2 mornings and that was enough for me!! I didn't know what was happening! I had a racing heartbeat from time to time, got dizzy and had really bad chest pains. Mind you, I have never had problems with my chest ever in my life! It was really bad. I couldn't bend down to get something because when I did I would have shortness of breath as well. After the second day, I stopped taking it read the side effects again and sure enough, shortness of breath & chest pains were the top 2 on the list! It took me 3 weeks to a month before this finally went away. It was scary. Has anyone ever tried this birth control? If so, did you ever experience these symptoms?
