Has anyone got their seriously achievement?

I have over 11,000 kills and have not yet received my seriously achievment. What about you guys?
I have also heard the achievements don't work most of the time. Is that true?
I'd like all of your insights into this confusing matter. Thank you

Ive only achieved 5,000 kills lol!! 100,000 kinda impossible for me unless you do the brumak lvl again and again. In gears 1 you only had to do 10,000 kills for an achievement. I'm thinking about doing all the achievements cause im bored and my friend says achiement numbers look kool rofl idk why but im gonna go for it. It may take up to 2 months but wth, something to do dont wanna buy game after game or ill go broke. Idk about the achievement thing cause it has never happened to me.

i almost had that achievment in my old profile but i gave it to my cousin i had about 8,000 kills. and i think why you don't have it because for achievments that envolves how many kills you need, you have to go uppon that achievment like i got my headshot achievement when i had about 300 headshots.
