Wel I hav used a lot of anti-virus software till now.....including KSA......the ones i have used are
Norton
NOD 32 (ESET smart security)
Kaspersky
Panda
Avg
Bitdefender
from all these i hav found ESET to be the best in detecting and clearing the viruses...and also consumes less resources......Kaspersky is also good at detecting viruses but it is slow at scanning.....
as for your problem of PC getting restarted......i thnk it may be some hardware problem.....or may be due to overheating.......
another reason may be some system file might hav gotten corrupted......very few viruses cause PC to restart.....so just try cleaning ur motherboard and repair your OS....it may help.....

For me Kaspersky Anti-Virus is the best all-around antivirus program. It excels at its primary task of preventing viruses. Reviews agree that Kaspersky is better than the bestseller Norton AntiVirus 2008 in all aspects. Kaspersky is fast and light, it won't slow your computer as much as the bestsellers. Some of the users says that Kaspersky has more software conflicts and issues than the average antivirus program. Yet program users like me express a much higher level of satisfaction with Kaspersky antivirus software than with Norton or McAfee programs.

Maybe there are some virus in your computer, althouth you have a antivirus,it's common that the antivirus don't kill the virus.Just you don't download unknow appliation and run it,your computer will not surffer virus.
I am using Norton,it's good for me,it don't make my computer slow like other virus software.

This competition is never one by a single AV, however i can tell the three that are still fighting over the first position:
Kaspersky, Nod32, Bitdefender
No offense to any other AV or its users, but these three are simply the best when it comes to any system on any computer.
