I hear that with all the news coming up on the internet, some seldom read newspapers these days. That's no doubt true ; a lot of news can be read online. But, I do read newspapers every morning. I think newspapers have things in more detail. What do you think ? Do you read newspapers every morning too ?

Hi greenline, how are you dear friend? Yes I read newspapers every morning it is a custom for me. When I don't have time to read in the morning I read it in afternoon. Read news online is good but I still prefer to read newspapers. And the fanny thing is that I like to read classifieds in newspapers but hate those pop ups and pop unders that internet have. Crazy isn't? Don't know but for me read something written in a paper have more taste and I can enjoy it much more. Reading online is good but never the same.
Cheers greenline and have a nice day.

Hello my dear Teka. So nice to see you. I am fine, and how have you been ? Yes, you are right. Reading something written on a paper gives a special taste. I feel the same too. Though I find the news online, I still want to read the newspaper every day.
Have a nice day too my dear Teka !

When there is a news story that interests me, I can read many different newspapers reports about it online. Some will be more informative than others, some will give more details than others. I can read about it on newspaper sites, and news service sites, not just from my own country but from international news sites and newspapers of other nations.
Buying a newspaper would only give me the opportunity to read one version of events, and there may be a political bias in the reporting of it. Having access to all the news sites in the world makes the internet a better way to read about important events, or trivial ones, from many different angles.
I don't have time for reading newspapers now but I do read news online. This way I can read as much or as little about an event as I want.

i dont read daily newspapers. They tend to clutter up the house. I read a local paper that comes out on Thursday. I also generally read a Sunday paper. I read the Washington Post typically. That's about it for my newspaper reading. My husbnad on the other hand reads a daily newspaper. I guess that I will often read papers.

Yeah , I suppose things depend on what information one is interested in. I like reading New York Times too.

I accualy haven't read the newspaper in forever. The one part that I do look at every so often is the classifieds though.

Hi greenline, i do read newspaper every morning. But i read it from internet. To me, there might be some news in internet is not as detailed as the newspaper itself. However, one reason i prefer news in internet is it been updated earlier, i can get the first hand news before i buy newspaper tomorrow.

Hello Just12blog. Yes, that is the benefit of online reading. All the news come up very fast and earlier than the newspaper arrives.

lol it's odd, but for some reason i could never take an interest in reading the newspaper, i never read it and i never really have unless someone points out a really interesting article, at which point i will read that article and then put the paper back down

Well, it is certainly understandable people have different interests.
