not sure if i would be considered serious, i just did my work and left it at that, i never needed to study much, i was able to retain information given in glass and to me the test questions and answers just seemed like common sense. i was very quiet, kept to myself, and just did what i had to do

When I was in high school I started off being the really serious type of student but then mid-freshman year I started parting and not caring as much. I still passed my classes just didn't take things as seriously.

When I was in high school I can say I was very serious in my studies. Although I have a hard time waking up so early that I am always late. I usually ask my big brother to help me out in my math assignments. He then teaches me how it is done and even give me short quizes to be sure I understood the lesson. I was always in debates, orations and other contests in English class. When I was in college it was another story and I guess at first I was serious then bad crowds came in ...fraternities and boys..and I didn't get to finish. I just reach until 2nd year college but although I have a good job right now. People learn from mistakes of the past.

I was pretty much a serious student, although I do try to have a little bit of fun in teh weekends, going out with friends and all. BUt when it comes close to exam time, I will be slogging hard, preparing a timetable to make sure I cover everything in time. Going to the library is also part of my routine. I love to read.

i was a straight a student in grade school. as a reward, my parents sent me to private all girls exclusive school in high school, from a co-ed public school, wishing me but the best kind of education. it was a different world for me, so somehow i was flabbergasted., with the rich kids, the beautiful classrooms, the difference in the whole educational system. and i blew all the chances i got to remain a straight a student. but i had the fun.. and when i reached college, i continued to be the carefree student i was in high school, aggressive, experimental, growing more creative through the years -- and overall as a student, though i was not really an achiever, i had the best times of my life -- with all the things i did and tried, both good and stupid, and all the friends i lost along the way, and few that ive kept til today.

I was the kind of friendly easy going student that was always ready for a joke or a prank but was also always responsible enough to act mature when it was needed. I guess that attitude helped me a lot to get out of trouble because the teachers knew I could be silly but I would always be responsible when it was important.
I used to get along well with all the different groups/cliques in school and was accepted by all, but was rarely part of one.
My tastes were - and still are - a bunch of very different things and I enjoyed being where the "action" was. I was part of the choir, but I was also part of the gymnastics team. I was in the debating team but also on the archeology group. I was part of the welcoming committee but could also be the first playing a prank on new students. I guess I am a person of contrasts LOL I could disrupt a class specially when it was getting boring and I felt it needed some lightning up, but I would not abuse it and was usually easily forgiven by teachers.
As for my studying habits, they were not the best I must confess. I never did my homework and I rarely took notes. But I had good marks specially because I learn mostly from hearing and I needed to hear things only once to remember them later.
During the weekends I did different things as well. Sometimes I would meet my friends from school, but after I was 16 I was part of something that was called FAOJ it was a government funded project to create community centers in neighborhoods and get different activities going to help getting kids out of the streets. I got quite involved in this for a long time.
I was a more responsible student in university, but was still open for prank suggestions :)

Me? I was a bad, bad student.
I was hardly that kind of industrious student whom every teacher and parent would be proud of. I am quite a slacker though people also believe otherwise.
Study? Nope. That was not my pastime.
Did I pay attention in lectures? Well, I suppose my subconscious mind might be active while I fell asleep on a regular basis (I can swear I always tried to stay awake - futile effort unfortunately).
Tutorials... well, it's hard to do them when you can't understand the questions or just don't know the answers to them.
So you were kinda cool, with your bunch your friends to absorb knowledge with.

The classes I loved I studied hard for....the others I just did what I had to do...though I was an honor student most of the time. Some classes just came easier and some I never did really understand like math....basic math was okay but trig etc. beyond my comprehension.

Hello vanities,
I loved school and I was a good student. I spent most of the time with my best friend. We gossiped, chatted, and studied together. We had a small group of friends too whenever we wanted something 'fresh' instead of being the two of us, every where in the school compound. When I was 15, I went to a boarding school. That was the end of stay-at-home day. I was independent. Teachers liked me a lot and I always became the teacher's pet - maybe because of the fact that I was good in my studies and cute looking little girl with long pony tail hair. *smiles*

I've never been a too serious student...I studied a lot my favourite classes, but I didn't study ones I didn't like...That's why some teachers loved me and others didn't love me! I often used to do my homework during lessons because I had to do something better at home...and during lessons I used to chat and laugh with my best friend all time long! And if I wasn't prepared for an exam, I stayed at home...'what a headache" I said!
