do you subscribe to job alerts? i do and my inbox is so crowded!!!

hi there.. i am subscribing to so many job hunting sites like monster, workopolis, careerbuilder, jobstreet, etc. etc.
if i dont open my email and a day or two. it gets very overwhelming.. hahahah.. it's like wading thorough alot of mails.. plus i have the mylot notication on.. hahaha...
sometimes, unless i trash this after opening, i wont be able to notice friends' emails.. hahhaa..
some of these, i placed a filter that will automatically shoot it in a folder but some, only directly to my inbox so i can remember to open it.
how about you?

Hi thanks for the reply... i have 2 alternative emails but i find it time consuming to keep opening them... this one is tied up with my ym... so it easier...

no i don't subscribe to job alerts because i've never actually tried to seriously look for a job online. but, i used to subscribe to different alerts and then when i open my email, my inbox has A LOT of new messages and 99% are just alerts. i'm not an email/email forwarding type of person so i used to get more alerts than real emails. it's annoying. i've actually changed my email address years ago because of it. right now, i'm subscribed to only about 3 alerts and even that annoys me! hahah

I just started with Monster.com. And my "professional-sounding" email address gets all the alerts. I try not to use my personal email for these sites so i don't get spam and such!
I hope you don't have your friendster notification on... doesn't it feel good to check several emails and then trash them? I find some enjoyment in that.
