What's the best time to start a discussion?

It varies, but seems the weekends have a lot more traffic all day long. I am more a night bird myself, but have had more response when on in the mornings of the weekends for some reason. :-)+

I'm not sure which is really the best time to start a discussion. I've had the best luck with starting them around 8pm in the evening more than other times of the day. Weekends seem to be good too. I usually save doing my replies to responses for in the evening. I've noticed that when I do that that the discussion gets pushed more towards the beginning of the list where more people will see it and possibly respond to it.

Don't you think that your location makes a lot of difference. As some people are just waking up - others are thinking of going to bed.
Perhaps weekends are best!!!

Not sure it matters, since there are users here from all over the world. When people in the U.S. are sleeping, it's probably working hours in India, which has a lot of Mylot users. Though I wouldn't mind seeing a chart of what the "peak" times for posting are...
