Some of you may already know that I have written an article for Triond recently and I have seen a tremendous increase in the number of pageviews for it. At this moment, the article has had more than 23,000 pageviews, more than 50 comments and more than 150 people who liked my article since it was published on 7 Aug. I'm so happy and grateful for all the readers out there. I would like to thank all my friends who have read it, commented on it and clicked the Like button on it.
If you're curious about the article, here it is.

You may have written for Triond, AC or Helium or some other site. So what is the highest pageview for an article? What did you write about? It would be great to gather all the hot topics to write an article, here at mylot.

I think the reason for the great success of your article is that it contains some really good keywords. Many people search online for legitimate sites which pay.
The one article I have written which earns the most money from page views is about working from home. I'm sure it does well because many people are searching for opportunities of making money at home, and they use some of the keywords in my article in their searches.
My second highest earning article is about the health benefits of fennel seeds. I think this gets a lot of page views because it contains some good keywords about diet and weight loss.
Articles from Helium and Triond do well in search engine results, because they are part of big traffic sites. If you know some of the best keywords to use in your articles, they will do better than others on the same topics.

YOu're so right. All the time! I must have some good keywords. I did not really think of that when I wrote the article though. Thank you for highlighting it for the benefit of all of us here at myLot. I have been thinking about such articles, SEO articles but I guess some of the popular keywords doesn't interest me that much. Yup! Making money from home is very popular. And those dealing with diet and weight loss does get a lot of attention. But I have no idea what to write about them yet.

That's pretty impressive. I've yet to have that type of success on Triond. Still a work at progress. I'm going to try my hand with more web design technical material to see if that works. My biggest one and this was on AC was the one about trying to predict the WWE Hall of Fame for 2008 with 3,000. It's had some increase but my most consistent in drawing pageviews on a regular basis had been about two Twilight Princess guides on defeating Ganondorf and obtaining 7 skills, and one about sending a fax over the Internet for free.
I hope to one day catch up and become a strong solid writer. That is pretty impressive to get to that level.

This is my biggest break ever since I started on Triond. I'm so grateful for all the attention my article is getting. I must have done something right. I guess paid2write above may have been right. Some of the keywords I used (I never realised I was using keywords!) in the article are popular searches in search engine. I think gaming articles are quite a success at Triond. From what I see, there is a long list of gaming related articles you can write about there. Anything free is also welcome by a lot of people. Whenever I write an article which has the word "free", I do get a little more pageviews. But it all depends on how you market the article too. I have been lucky in this case. It's been picked up by other people and put in social bookmarking sites. Some of them linked my article from their websites too. Truly grateful that this is happening! My earnings touched a new record too.

I was doing some gaming ones mainly review ones actually with the upcoming Mega Man 9 coming out soon so I thought about looking back at each of them as like a tribute so to speak. I try to work well with keywords. I think with a lot of things it's hit or miss. You never know how much it will get viewed by anyone.

i'm glad for the appreciation and for leaving a mark in the box. those are simple but great feelings to know and would encourage me to do more and not stop just right there. tears on my heart are those one of the few that i put so much time in polishing and revising them to get what i wanted to express. i can't even believe i could make like that but it is just a matter of making your first step and i could tell you more of my experience in making my first step and the next thing i know i already are making 15 more. lol
lem'me when you are interested and i'm surely would love to share and impart.

It's amzing that you put so much time and effort on it. You should get them all published in a poetry book. Thank you so much for offering to "coach" me. I will never know when my writing might take a turn to poetry. But I surely know who to look for.

Hello there Sir Rob, Thanks for adding me at Triond. I can't do poetry, just not good at it. I can just write straightforward articles. Nothing fancy. I rad Tears on My Heart. I'm so touched.

Ya, I was one of those "I like it" :D Although I only liked 8/9 of the article :P
Don't think Helium displays your page views so no idea what the page view is
Don't really get a lot of page views for my Triond articles. Think the best one is generating close to 20 page views per day.

I see what you mean about Helium. I do have one article which is ranked high and another one very low, the first one generates a few cents for me, the other one is still zero. I get what you're saying.
I have a couple of not-so positive comments on Academia-Research. Will continue to monitor closely. Thank you for your comment.

Huh? If you are talking about changing the Helium portion in your article, your article is accurate for that part. Earnings generated really is based solely on page views. Helium just doesn't show page views. And as the rates are different for titles under different categories e.g an article under Health would generate more income per page view than an article under Philosophy, so while I do know how much each of my articles are earning, I have no idea about the actual rate per page view so I can't reverse engineer to find out. The portion of your article on Helium is accurate (except for the earnings being based on rank part, but it could be argued that higher ranking generates more page views which generates more income, so it's not totally wrong)
The 1/9 of the article that I didn't like was the Academia-Research part as my research has led me to conclude it is a scam that pays writers only for the first few months only to replace them with newer writers.

Congratulations! You must be extremely proud of this because this many page views and that many comments in such a short time is very impressive! I have not written for any of these sites no; but I have had articles published before in industry magazines and have also written a number of press releases etc throughout my career. Most of my writing is work and business related for things such as manuals, brochures, proposals and business plans etc. This is why I like mylot because I can write about things that interest ME for a change! It also helps that mylot is quick and easy because time availability is also a major issue for me unfortunately. I have opened your article in another window so now will go and add to your view tally! Good for you.

Thank you James for rading my article. I'm certainly proud of this. I used to write marketing brochures too for my company a long long time ago. Now I write about anything that I like at these sites.

Which is better in your opinion...? Helium or Triond..? Congratulations first of all. I have given up on Triond long time ago, because the method just doesn't work with me. But I am happy to see happy members like you getting some awesome exposure. Are you earning well..? If you keep up at that, then I suppose you must have monthly payments from them.
Congratulations again.

Hey there Syd, nice to interact with you again too. I know that Triond and helium are like the two rivals having 2 different sets of fans. I don't know which is better but both sure have their own advantage and disadvantages.
It's better than nothing, and I'm sure that your contents will enable you to earn more.

Hi Zed! I only have two articles in Helium, compared to 60 over articles in Triond, so I can't really make a comparison. I didn't like the ranking system in Helium. I don't believe that system works, at least for me. But I know many people are doing well there. I'm earning some each month and reach payout every month at Triond, it's only 50cents anyway, easy to achieve. I guess I will keep at it for a bit. Thank you!

First of all I would like to thank you for adding me as a friend in Triond. I hope I could get as much page views as you have and hopefully earn a lot from it too. I also hope you share your secret to success in writing at Triond.

No secret whatsoever. I have been writing on various topics at Triond, you can see from my profile pages. But at Triond, you need to promote your article at social bookmarking sites such as Stumbleupon, and so forth. I think I was lucky someone spotted my article and bookmarked it.
As for this particular article, I did research on the topic at each of the sites and I also read reviews about them here at myLot and I know that people have been paid. I'm so glad that I managed to help many people in the process.

Triond is not for professionals. If you can write reasonably well, it can get publsihed easily. I'm no pro when it comes to writing, I have never taken any writing course or anything like that. If you can't write in English, Triond accepts writing in other languages. I think that is the interesting thing about Triond. Try it!

Well, let's be honest. I made $30 last month for that article alone! It's almost equivalent if I were to sell my articles at Constant Content or something. It has never happened before. My overall earnings was more than $30. Imagine, my other 60 over articles just accummulated less than $10. Sigh! Keep writing! You will get a big break soon!

I have been writing articles for a few months now. I'm no expert I must say. I do recommend Triond, AC or Helium if you want to write articles and get them published at their site. Triond is simple to use. Submit an article in any language. They will come back to you in an email to noify whether you article has been accepted or rejected. At Triond, there are also guidelines you can follow on how to write an article for the web. There are also many tutorials at some of these sites to guide you on how to write articles. Different people have different styles. Your style might be a winner, who knows? You have just got to try.
