DDOS Attacks Are Hitting Lots of PTC--Whats Up With That?

Seems like some hackers are getting their jollies by attacking PTCs, with something called a DDOS attack, which I don't even know what is, but basically it takes the site off line for a few days and pancis all the clickers out there--is the site another scam? I know they have hit bux.to and crewbux, what other sites have been hit by these hackers? And what is a DDOS attack, anyways.
I think it is a terrible thing to do--what are your thoughts on the matter?

I am not able to explain what it consists of but the hacker is attacking the hosting server of these sites and not the sites directly. The very fact that the sites involved - CrewBux, Isabelmarco, Bux.to, CroCllix to name but a few - is a sign that these sites are important and trusted sites.
All will be back to normal in a couple of days at the most according to what I read oon the sites and the forums.

That's good info. I initially had a fear that bux.to is just going offline. So relieved that it was up yesterday and today. I just came to know about these DoS attacks very recently. Hopefully they are getting it resolved :)

I think that DDOS hacker is for real. Up to now, Isabelmarco is trying to regain full functionality of the site. They also said it is from Macedonia. Neobux security must be good, they have been spared by this. Crewbux have been up since this afternoon by the way. Happy mylotting!
