Rap seems to be like one of those ways on how to sing.. You can possibly rap a national anthem or that happy birthday song. It really depends on the content of the song which we could determine if sends off either positive or negative messages to teens now-a-days..

it depends on the lyrics...if it implies bad things,,,definitely it is bad influence. but if it says good things then not...it really depends on what the message of the song is.

Rap music is ok to listen. The only problem it can be negative to teens is the lyrics. We can use rap music by delivering positive lyrics that can inspire and teens. Than rap music with a lot of bad words.

not all rap music is negtive. i listen to all kind of music. i let my kids listen to rap music growing up as long it wasn't about calling woman the b word or hoes. or like the cop killer song those cds got broken by me. most of the teens are more negtive, and to me it's the parents fault.
