I have been going thru some difficult times this last month or so. I have been to the point of dispair. I found that when I am responding, starting, or rating a discussion I was relaxing a little. Sort of letting my hair down if you will. I began to wonder how things worked. I asked questions and researched myLots guidelines. It seems that everything we do such as, starting a discussion, responding to a discussion, and rating a discussion increases you earnings. I am not sure if you are mentioned on myLot digest if that helps. If you are mentioned that means you received a lot of responses. If you rate and answer them you will earn. Its become therapeutic for me. I now realize that I am obsessed with earning. I have the MYLOT FEVER!!!!!! Do you?

I find spending time at myLot relaxing too, it gives me a nice break from other things. MyLot can be helpful in many ways. If you need information or advice, there are always plenty of friendly people at myLot willing to help. I have had some of my discussions appear in the myLot Digest. It can happen when a discussion gets a lot of responses in the first day, and then it will get a whole lot more responses after it appears in the Digest. In that way it does help to increase your earnings. I have the fever too, and I have been paid every month for the past five months by myLot. Happy myLotting

How do you do it? I try so hard to get a pay out every month. It seems that something always comes up to take me away from the computer. I then have to find time between tasks to myLot. I call it myLotting. LOL It makes it sound more intense. dl

I only make payout every month because I use my computer every day for other purposes, and I can drop into myLot and add a few responses during breaks, several times a day. If I did not enjoy it so much, I would do it less often.

Maybe we can strive for our goals together. What happens after the 500 mark? I am still not clear on everything. I hope you get your goal soon my friend. YOU GO GIRL! Oh and by the way, I dont think there's a cure for myLot fever. YOu can ease the symptoms by continuing to myLot. That's what I do. lol dl

At the 500 mark, you get to cut and paste your text. It helps me when myLot is a bit cranky and sometimes does not load properly. When I refresh, all my writing is gone to waste. So I copy my responses before posting them, just in case my writing gets deleted because the site is a bit unstable.

I wouldn't say I have the fever anymore, but I do find it relaxing to sit and read and respond to interesting discussions. I don't make enough on Mylot to get real excited about. I do rate and respond most of the time.

You've got a bad case of myLot Fever child!! Nothing you can do for it except let it run its course. I advise you stay close to a puter or at least have a notebook near you. THis way if you get an idea for a discussion you wont forget it. Smart hah? just kidding. For me It comes in spurts. One week I love it. Next week I am too busy or bored of it. I just do as much as I feel. I never push it. Unless I really need help with something. If I am becoming depressed about something and dont feel like doing anything, that's when I dont allow myself to stop. Thanks to friends like you. I am hardly ever depressed anymore. I take no meds for depression. My medication is myLot. AND IT WORKS! dl

I did have it at one time but after 2 years it kind of ebbs. I am really very pleased to see that you are one of the newbies who took the time to read the guidelines. I cannot believe how many new myLot users just start to post a bunch of discussions which only go to show they have not even bothered to read the guidelines. I do not mind spending time trying to answer a question that cannot be found in the guidelines but only by my own experiences on this website but I will not answer a discussion where the posted has just been too lazy to check it out themselves.

I came upon myLot by accident. I am so glad It happened thats for sure. You are one of silver members. Meaning you were here from the very start of it. I am honored that you would respond to my discussion. You have worked hard to get where your at as far as myLot is concerned. I only looked over the rules so I could find out what you can do to earn money. I am glad I did. Thanks dl

I wish that my myLot friends lived in my town. I wouldnt have to worry about the knuckleheads I got now. lol. I do love talking to you guys. Because we are basically anonymous in a sense, its much easier to be more open about things. I like that. I am glad to know you as well Jill. I dont have many friends where I live. It seems that I always try to be kind and end up the idiot. I hope that one day they hold a myLot conference so we can all attend. It would be fun to match people to their names. dl

I did at first when I first joined. It is still nice in here. I think I really liked it a lot in first a lot in here because of the fact rhat it is the most that I have ever made was from mylot. Without selling anything like I have in the past on ebay. So it was really nice.

I am glad you chose myLot. Its nice to have good woman around to ask advice. I think the fever will come and go. Sort of like a game of cat and mouse. I love games. I like the idea that If I have a question or comment I would like to get off my chest, I can. The most important decisions I have made lately were assisted by the help of you guys here at myLot. Thanks for sharing my friend. dl

LOL that's nice! It means you are enjoying yourself. I do hope I won't see a discussion from you saying that you have MBOS (Mylot burn out syndrome). Every mylotter gets it once in a while and it is a common ailment, as common as Mylot Fever. Enjoy the fever as long as it lasts. I am a bit in the middle these days. Last week, it was fever. This week, it is leaning more toward MBOS. But then, that's life!! :) Cheers and happy mylotting

I can say that I still have the mylot fever even with more than 1,000 posts since more than half of my posts now, I just did in less than 8 months since I've been active here again. I've also just learned how long and descriptive responses pay more than what I do before with 3-liners, and that rating discussions and comments actually help us earn also, I've been a member for over a year and I've recently just found out about it also. That's why every time I respond to a discussion I try to remember to rate it and those replies that I see are worth rating for. It's nice being here every day, and I agree that it's also relaxing. Mylot can serve as an outlet for others too. And oh, I am also obsessed with earning here now that I know how to improve on it.

Once you get the fever, You have it for life. It may go into remission. But it will come back. In today's society there is alway something to debate. There is alway some type of gossip to be discussed. It is an outlet for relieving stress. For me at least. I think that myLot helps everybody in their own way. I am obsessed with earnings too. However I find that if I dont pay attention to them, they increase faster. I think its because when we are dwelling on earnings, we cant focus on what we should do to increase our earnings. Now I look at my numbers when I get on and that's it. It works! Try it. Good Luck and Happy MyLotting friend. dl

I did for awhile but I'm losing it. I can't seem to find anything I'm interested in talking about anymore. I'm just trying to make another .40 this month to reach payout and it's taking me forever. After that, I think I'll take a break for awhile. And hopefully I'll get the 'fever' back again sometime.

Good day... mylot can be a therapeutic to most people who are burdened from everyday stress. I mean letting yourself out, the questions or problems that you can't normally share with friends, you can do it here. This is really a good place for one's output.

Oh my friend! Please dont get sick over it. Nothing is worth your health. MyLot fever is okay as long as we dont go to far. I am the same way. I am very high strung. I get upset quickly. I have no patience. I have to admit when I am on myLot I feel stress free. I hope it stays that way. I have also never had a person respond to where I didnt request them as a friend. My goal is to make as many myLot friends as possible. WISH ME LUCK. I am starting with you. dl

You've already got the FEVER! lol You are hooked my friend. Its the best addiction to have. Making friends through the use of conversation is an excellent way to spend your time. I used to be so sad all the time. Not now! From listening to discussions and advice for fellow myLotters I realize that everyone has problems. Some of them even similar to mine. I just have to speak up and let people know I am here. thanks dl

I think that is what is quickly making me a MyLot addict--I do find it relaxing to be here, to find that other people are dealing with similar issues, and have similar responses. It's a great release, and I'm glad you're enjoying it as much as I am!

I was going through a really rough emotional time when I found myLot. I quickly became addicted. It is not so intense now, but it definitely is therapeutic. I engage in all the aspects of myLot, because that does increase your earnings and make it even more fun.

I am suffering from it for the past 2 years almost and its only getting worst. Most surprising is that for a practical money-minded miser like me, its paying very little and that also I have not been able to see the actual money coz paypal supports very little Indian banks. Even then, I am here almost every day, taking this poison and loving every drop of it…its one hell of an addiction and just gimme more
