"Do u Clean your Ear Everyday or Everytime you are done with your Shower"

My uncle advised us not to clean the ears everyday. if you do clean your ears everyday, do it gently. he has hearing problems. and he got it from cleaning his ears everyday. he told us that his doctor told him that because of constantly cleaning the ears, a surface of a part of his ear was damaged. but of course, it's part of hygiene to clean the ears. just do it gently.

I clean my ears every time I take a shower. I even sometimes clean them again before I go to bed at night. I cannot stand the way my ears feel if they have not been cleaned. I have cleaned my ears at least once a day as long as I can remember.

Hi there iyah10 I always clean my ears in the shower by tipping my head to the side. I use I cotton bud simply to soak up the water left in there because if I don't they itch!

I clean my ears so much that I do actually have ear problems. Picture this and of course this is only so while I'm at home since work don't supply q-tips, but while I'm at home or even my mother's house and EVERY TIME I use the restroom I clean my ears! It use to be only after showers, but later it got to every time I was in the restroom. It's gotten to be such a habit that my ears will drive me absolutely crazy if I don't clean them, but on the other hand one of my ear's I end up trying to get the built up wax out of it but end up pushing it down where I can't hear and of course that drives me completely crazy so I try harder and harder. Normally I can get it out eventually but I can tell the difference in my hearing as it was and as it is now. Of course my doctor says don't ever use q-tips because it does push everything down and cause problems. Even with being told this I still can't stop!

Hi! I always clean my ears too after a shower. It has bit a habit to clean my ears after a bath. Sometimes while watching tv or whenever and my ear gets itchy I clean it. I can't stand itchy ears. I believe cleaning ears should be done everyday or atleast every other day. It is a part of good hygiene. Ciao!
