organ donation

i filled in a form a while ago to say that should i die i would be put on the organ donor list. I never recieved a card,is there any way to make sure that i am in fact on the list?

Do you have a driver's license? If so, it should indicate on there that you wish to be an organ donor. You also should make sure your family and friends are aware of your intentions, just in case - that way, if something happens, when they contact your next of kin, your family will be able to let the doctors know your wishes.

Where did you register as a donor? Contact that place to find out what you should do. Also, I still recommend making your family aware of your wishes. They may be resistant, so this should not be just a casual conversation - be very clear and firm with them.

Mine has it on my license. It has a red heart and donor underneath it. You could probably call the DMV in you area and have them look to see if you're listed as a donor or not.
