I wish clothing makers would consider the types of clothing they make and how many people are ACTUALLY shaped properly to wear it. I have a long pelvis and since my sergery last summer, sort of a tummy. When I wear jeans that fit my skinny tushy, I get muffin-top or the waistband chafes my hip bones. If I wear something that fits me at the waiste and doesn't sit so low that the top of my butt crack show, it looks HORRIBLE on my butt what's that about?

I agree! My problem is that I have an INCREDIBLY short torso so that I have to buy low-riders just to get the waistband not to be above my belly button! The problem with that is that low riders fit differently and I have to buy a larger size than I should (I have a large butt! lol) when I go to normal stores. I'm a plus size girl so I do go shopping in plus size stores when I can't find size 18 at a regular store and the clothes there seem to fit better, like they figure all big girls have butts to match! lol. But my best friend has a hard time because she has a small butt so plus size clothes look saggy in the back lol. I've always wanted to design a line of clothing that fits "real" people. Not models. Even the plus size models aren't shaped like all plus size girls. If designers would make clothes that are tailored to real girls, I think it would help the occurrance of eating disorders as well (whether it be overeating OR undereating). Once I can get enough money saved up, I plan on starting to buy materials to start my line, but that's going to be a while from now. Hopefully someone will come up with something before that!

finally somone who know where I am coming from on this. So then how do we affect change. Do you know anyone who makes these decisions at WalMart or someplace? I also don't want to have to drop $150 to get a pair of jeans that fit, you know?

I know! lol I've spent so much on jeans. I can usually only afford one pair at a time and I end up wearing em till they wear out so I don't have to spend so much on em. I don't know anyone, but I do know that there are some designers out there that are trying to cater to different shapes. I don't know if there are any where you live but if there are, check out a store called D.E.B. They have plus sizes, junior sizes, just about any size you can think of and they're reasonably priced. They sell name brands, not just their own and I've never seen jeans there that cost more than $25! Hopefully you can find something like that near you too.
