There is no Use of Making Friends at Mylot!!!!!

Mylot contains a feature of adding people into the friends list,....I often get a friend requests from other mylotters, but I have never communicated or sent any message to them privately (except a few in the beginings)....
Orkut is a also an online community, I am also a member of that community....and I have made quite a few friends over there,I think the main reason I have made friends over there is because orkut provides a detailed information about the other person's profile, also one is bound to view the other's profile on a lot of occasions, while here at mylot userprofiles are seldom viewed....
Also there is no comparable thing here at mylot like the scrap book in ORKUT...!!!What do you people say about this

I think you have no real idea what myLot is about if you say there is no use making friends here.

I am sorry you feel that way. I have made a lot of friends here that I interact with on other sites as well. It is nice to see a familiar face around the internet. I do visit the profiles of my friends. Maybe not as often as I would like to but I do try.

Yes! pal you might visit the profiles of your friends, but it is on your choice, it is not a necessity, but it orkut for example, it becomes almost a necessity to check the person's profile with whom your are communicating....Did you check my profile before participating in this discussion....I guess not????!!!lolz

I have some FANTASTIC friends here. REAL people from all over the world. I am in contact via email with some of them and on the telephone with others and I will even get to meet some of them personally soon - GREAT!
I think it depends on the individual. If you make friens easily offline then you will also make friends easily online and here is even better than other so-called social sites. They are all about making money. Here the fun and the firends come first and the money is only by the way. Well in my opinion it is

Honestly speaking you are quite right about your assumption about me that I am not good at making friends in real world.....I am a bit choosy about making friends, I only have just a few friends ....But As I already said, I do have quite some friends online on Orkut...The other community which i visit quite often...But I don't have any here at my lot!!!!

Oh mo it wasn't aimed at you but in general 
I find that people are the same online and off in every aspect not just about making friends.
If you wish to send a friend request I will accept it but I feel it should come from you rather than me as well.... I'm an old lady

I have made a lot of friend on my lot, and I have learned quite a bit from them also. The other thing that's neat is you can go to "friends started" and help your friends out by making them more money. and they generally,but unfortunatly not as much as I do, respong to my conversations to help me make more money!

Wow, you are the first in here I see that say making friend is not use in here. maybe it's your opinion. according to you making friends is no use become we can see more information from them. In myLot we make a post and start a new discussion, so from there we need someone to respond our discussion. Also we need friend to easier find which discussion we want to respond.
According to me, every forum or site is always make us to add a friend. Because we are making relation with other people, so to be more close we need to become friend. Then eveything will be more easy.
