it is unusual, but i know two of my college classmates who do not sleep with pillows in bed. i wonder how did they do that because i myself cannot sleep without having three of my pillows in bed. besides, i think it will be somewhat uncomfortable. how about you? can you sleep without even a single pillow?

I've never tried because I very much doubt I could sleep without one.
I have a head pillow and a 'leg' pillow either side of me in the bed beside me.
I used to have about 5 pillows, but I have reduced it to just 3 now.
Even if I stay at a friends place I have at least 2 pillows.

I often find a pillow under my knees (if I'm lying on my back) is rather comfortable too...

Nope . I am the type of person who needs to hold on to something to be able to sleep and I have been used to hugging a pillow that I can't sleep without one. Actually, my husband and I have around 6 pillows on the bed . These make the bed smaller but more comfortable.

I use to sleep without pillows. I don't anymore I like a real soft pillow, with down-feathers, my head just sinks in it. I sleep good too.

I can't sleep without pillows. I also heard that it's not good for the neck since our neck has to bend then in order to rest. I need to two actually for comfortable sleep.

I have to have a pillow in my bed for me to be able to go to sleep. My toddler son hasn't ever had a pillow in his cot. This would have been dangerous for him when he was a baby. Now he is 15 months old he could probably have a pillow but he isn't old enough to ask for one. When I travel I take a small blow up pillow and I even used it at a guest house in Lithuania because their pillows were horrible. I went on a camping trip this earlier this week. I took my light weight camping mat, my sleeping bag and a full sized pillow from home. I feel comfortable when I sleep with a lovely pillow.

Nope. I need my pillows. There are 4 on my bed. And now that I am pregnant, I need a few more. Even those don't make me too comfy. I cannot imagine no pillow.

No, I have 8 pillows in my bed and without those pillows I can't able to sleep well.I experienced sleeping without pillows before because I have no choice. But sleeping without pillows in my bed I think I can bear it. Even a single pillows, I don't think so.Thanks for the post my friend.

NO i cannot sleep without pillows. I have 4 pillows, two that lie flat and then two that are sort of set on an angle, i cant sleep being flat on my back. The 4 pillows allow me to sleep in almost a sitting position and still be comfy.

Yeah, I do can sleep without a pillow.
In fact, it depends: there are days that my pillow looks so comfortable, and I just can't sleep without it; in other, the pillow looks so unconfortable to me, and I HAVE to sleep without it.
Yeah, it do varies. ^^"

I have been a spoilt child and used to sleep on my mother's arm. But since it caused some painful problem to her, I started sleeping on my own arm! So regarding your question, yes I can. And sometimes it feels more comfortable too. If the pillow is overstuffed one, I just can't sleep on it. Better without a pillow then (not necessarily on arms too, for sleeping straight is so beneficial!)
