Honestly I never do it. In school, we learn that we must pray to God before we do our activity. One of the activity is before go to bed.
As religion man we know that everything God give to us is a mercy and we must thankful to him. I never pray to God before I go to bed, so I'm not a very good religion man. I never do it, because I too tired after doing my job, when I touch my spring bed, I will directly go to sleep this habit is been do since I'm child.
Do you pray to God before sleep ?

I always say my prayers before I go to bed. I thank God for bringing me through the days trials and tribulations . I am very thankful for all the things that He has done for me and I want to give Him all the praise. Now I work night so I pray every morning before I lay down.

I do pray to God before I sleep and when I wake up. I am tired too but its not much effort to talk to Him in my mind, thank Him for another safe day that passed, thank Him for all the people I love and so on...
With so many religion sprouting out, I respect their vision, their beliefs, their practices, yet for me, the most important thing is the personal relationship I have with my Creator.

I agree very much with you Lip. Not much effort at all talking to Him in my mind. I too pray at bedtime, but in my thoughts as I take a few deep breaths, relax and look forward to a good nights sleep.
I know He understands our busy lifestyles that make us physically tired. And I believe with all my heart He accepts our earnest mental prayers and thanksgiving that we render unto Him. I do not believe He expects us to always pray on our knees. I maintain a prayerful mind-set 24/7/365.

As a Muslim i pray five times a day and one of the times we pray is before we go t sleep. Yes i know that sometimes you feel tired but while your in prayer there is nothing and noone around except you and god.
At the end of the day he has commanded us to pray and that is what we should do if we want to enter his mercy. Follow his commands. Occasionaly we will slip, we are only human but he is a forgiving Lord and loves it when people repent to him after their mistakes

Hi there winzpc!
I do pray to God before I close my eyes at night and the moment I open my eyes in the morning. If I can pray to Him all day, I would definitely do that. With all the graces I receive on a daily basis, I can't help but thank God endlessly. I pray whether asking for some blessings or thank Him for those that I receive.

Yes, I make it a point to pray to God every night before I sleep, to thank Him all the blessings He had given to me and for my day as well as asking for guidance for everything I will do for the next day. But still there are times that I skipped if I am too tired or too sick.

I do. I talk to God before I go to sleep. Its a habit especially when you have a relationship with Him. Its like He's with you all the time, everywhere you go. Its not like a ritual like what other religions too. For us Christians who are born again is more accepting Jesus God ou Saviour. God speed.

I try my best to say a little prayer before I go to sleep. However, I must confess that there are times that I forget. Before I usually say a kids prayer "Now I lay me down to sleep. I ask the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake. I ask the Lord my soul to keep." but now I try to pray from my heart and just let the Lord know what I feel at the end of the day.

yes, my daughters and i never forget to pray before we sleep and not only on those times, we pray before we eat, and as for me and my husband, we try to pray at the most times that we can do, as it is our only way to communicate to God and thank him for whatever he had given us

Sometimes I do find myself forgettig to pray to God. But when I start thinking about how much He has blessed me, even if it is just bringing me through another day, I always take the time out laying down in bed, to thank Him for everythign he has given me. I do sometimes forget, but I always apologize to Him and try to remember more often.

yes,I believe the God and would like to express my thanks to him by way of prayer. But most of the time I only remember it in my heart just before we do our activity,I think from my point that the form is more important than content ,so I believe the God may bless you and me if we are sincerely enough

I dont pray to God before going to bed. I wasnt brought up believing in God or praying to God so havent ever done it. Im the same as you, when I get into bed, I get comfy and fall asleep preparing myself for a busy day at work the following day!!
Thanks for sharing!

I do, but I admit how sincere and fervent the prayer is changes from day to day. But I am working on it. I don't ever want to end my day without at least thanking my Father for the blessings of the day, and asking for direction on the following day. It is a good habit to get into.

hi there. prayer is a tool given by God to man to directly communicate to Him. God is there ready to listen to our prayers 24/7 no break. we can talk to Him anytime not just before bedtime. Imagine this, we communicate with our loved ones to maintain the relationship. the same way with God, if we have a relationship with Him, we also have to communicate to Him often, not just when we are asking for something.

Actually its a good thing saying your prayers before going to sleep thanking god for the wonderful day that passed by. But sadly i don't do that either.
I know god blesses us with a lot of wonderful things in life everyday but i am such a lazy person and feel bored to pray i have to accept the fact which is very wrong on my part. My religion also says to say bed time prayers but i fail to do it.
When i was small i sued to always pray every night before going to bed but then as i grew i started getting very busy and just started ignoring it. But in my mind I'm always thankful to god for everything.

I remembered when I was young, I was really very active in church. We always went to the church every Sunday. I was raised by my parents to be religious with that they taught me to pray everyday. However, now I don't get to pray anymore before going to bed. Maybe because I am too preoccupied with work. I am already very tired. I know I am supposed to pray before retiring to bed because it is the moment when you can thank God for the day that was, for guiding and protecting you for the whole day. Now, I realized that I should pray later. This topic is like a wake up call to me. Praying doesn't need an hour for you to spend. So, there's no reason for me not to give a few minutes of my time to thank God.
