A lot of people complain about using Windows Vista, even they do not used it on a daily basis. What they did not know about is that it is a well-working operating system. You just need to configure your computer to suit its requirement. Vista Ultimate runs in a 512MB, 2.0Ghz PC, not crashing or anything. You just need a good dedicated graphics card to handle its visual styles and effects. A 128Mb GeForce will do.
Don't be fooled by people who say Vista is crap. You just need how to learn how to confide with its requirement.
The Vista SP1 greatly improves its performance. It is now much faster, more secure than its predecessor, the well-known Windows XP.

How long have you used Vista? I had to use to for a month at my old work place and it was a small nightmare. The PC was well above the requirements for Vista, but only 1/2 of our programs actually were Vista compatible. Windows would get a ton of error and crash on a regular basis.
Plus, I don't like change LOL I hated how the interface was set up and did not find it user friendly at all. It had all kinds of stuff on it that I wouldn't even use on my home PC.
For the average PC user, XP is still the way to go. Even better, buy a Mac

I love Vista. But silly me, I use it properly. I have the proper hardware requirements and I don't try to run software that is not compatible. It has run flawlessly. Way better than XP.
