are there any pet markets in your city?

there are several pet markets in my city,shenyang, china.
it's good to see all kinds of small animals, but it also makes me feel sad to see small animals are traded as goods, and some people adopt dogs for sale, breed puppies for money. does your city have such markets?

in the US i don't think there are pet markets (at least i haven't seen any) but there are plenty of pet stores. i think they're basically the same things. you go into a store to buy different kinds of animals like dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, and fish. for adoptions there are animal shelters that keep unwanted pets for others to adopt. yeah i know what you mean about trading animals as goods. but sometimes i think it's better for those animals to be in the stores if they're treated well than to be left out in nature with nobody to take care of them.

ya friend their are many pet markets in my city but i see
Birds,
Fishes,
Dogs
Even i also see many different type of animals like monkeys but they don't sell them they make money by playing play's with them
the different thin is Snakes they do the same thing with snakes too.
