War or piece?

It is an irony! No one likes war.. (unless they are deranged).. but as in the case of say Hitler.. he had to be stopped. What is it that makes some want to do great evil? and want to hurt many, sometimes even millions? Now that is surely a mystery.. What an ambition, to fill mass graves.. I do think there will be some comeuppance for such ones!!

The only time I know of where a war brought real peace is WWII. If no one fought the Nazis or the Japanese there wouldn't be any peace now.And the only peace to stop war example I know of is the Untied Nations. Especially in the early days they were foemed to keep peace to fight war.

The problem is, there are people that are aggressive, and don't care about peace, for you or anyone else! Their goal is just to aggress and control others! War is very necessary, because peace-loving individuals and countries must be able to, not only defend ourselves, but have the ability to overcome the aggressors! This is sad, but true ! If we just let the aggressors run over us we are nothing! Look at WWII, when Japan attacked the US, we were trying to stay out of the war, and depend on peace, we couldn't, and shouldn't have let them attack us at all! I am a strong believer in, "the best defense, is a good offense"! To me, if you really love peace, you must be able to fight for it, for yourself, and for others, because no one else will do it for you!
