Top discussions

So what do you think are the criteria for a top discussion? What draws people into it and makes them feel like commenting? What do you look for in discussions that aren't started by your friends and still you respond? Will this become one of the top discussions? (lol I bet not) Have you ever started a discussion thats become the top discussion for that day? I'd like to know as I'd like to see my name up in lights! Thanks James

Nothing wrong with wanting your name up in lights! Keep on trucking! I think that this is a very good question. But I guess that it all depends on a person's mood on a particular day as to what kind of discussion they want to participate in. I usually go to discussions that have to do with questions about life and children. Also some philosophical ones grab my attention.
