Tim hortons Versus Starbucks

Tim Horton's destroyes Starbucks! First of all, I find Starbuck's to be way to over priced...And I can't stand how a large coffee is called a "Grande" there or whatever they call it...I asked for a medium coffee there before they they looked at me as if I were a crazy person...I can't recall what they actually call a small or medium coffee there, but it isn't small or medium, that's all I really remember...Plus there's a Tim Horton's within a two minute walk from my place, so that's a plus too... -Mike

I'm not a big coffee fan but I really liked tim hotons ice capps and donuts. I also enjoy starbucks frappacinos. However I worked for tim hortons for a month. This was the worst job I've ever had. They treated their employees like crap. 1. Didn't have a uniform to fit me. 2. they only gave you a break if you worked an 8.5 hr shift.. and you weren't paid by it. 3. they made you smoke by the dumpster 4. the customers were really rude. 5. it paid minimum wage. 6. They wouldn't fill out employees forms for compensation for accidents at work. 7. They told a woman to work with food after cutting her finger when they did not have proper bandaids. 8. they told me I would have 20 hrs or less a week and scheduled me for 40 even though I told them I had another job so I ended up working 70 hours a week for a month.
