This one is for all the lovely ladies out there! What does your make-up routine consist of?
What are your favorite brands to use?
Do you tend to go for the more natural, quick look or do you go full out and use everything? I prefer going natural but sometimes I want to feel "extra" pretty!
Do you like to change up the colors or do you stick with the same pallete of colors?
My routine is pretty much always the same. First I wash my face, pat dry and then I apply my moisturizer. My favorite is Yes to Carrots. It's organic and amazing for dry skin. After that I apply my foundation (whipped), my concealer, dust on powder and then my blush. On days when I want a little Oomph! I'll use some light sparkly bronzer. Once the main part of the face is done I'll concentrate on my eyes. I'll dab on a tiny bit of concealer on my eyelids because mine seem to be a slightly different color than the rest of my face. Then I'll put on a creme shadow, preferably a shade that matches the shadow I'll be wearing. Then I put on the shadow. Following the shadow, I'll swipe on some mascara.
If it's a fancy occasion then I'll also use some eyeliner. I've got every color imaginable because I like variety and playing around with different colors.
After everything is complete I'll pick out one of my fave lipglosses. Usually a light transparent pink or a darker rose color.
My fave brands are...
Yes to Carrots face moisturizer
A whipped foundation that matches my skin tone and isn't drying.
Maybelline's Dream Matte Powder
Revlon's Creme Shadows
Covergirl's Lashblast
Prestige Eyeliner and Revlon's Colorstay Eyeliner in Blackest black (It literally lasts forever)

I'd go for the lighter (next to natural) look during daytime (whether it's work or outing).
I have a very simple routine - wash, tone and moisturise. After that, I'll use sunblock (the sun here's sometimes scorching hot), then the foundation. Dust on powder; I don't use blusher. Then shades of light brown for the eyes, and lipstick - I often go for shades of brown again. I can't use mascare or eyeliner (wearing contacts)!
During the evenings or functions, I'd go for brighter colours for eyes and lips, depending on the occasion.
My favourite brands are:
Estee Lauder - lipsticks, eye colours
Averine - foundation and powder
Cleanser, Toner, Moisturiser - Himalaya Herbals
SunBlock - Dermalogical

I hated wearing contacts for that exact same reason. Eyeliner and mascara are two of my favorite things! I love light browns, beige and toupe for the eyes. They're soft and very pretty looking.
That's good that you use a sunblock seperate from your moisturizer, even though you can get many moisturizers that have spf..it's better to keep them seperate because it works better. Thanks for sharing your beauty routine!

You're very fortunate you don't have to wear it everyday...but when you do what do you wear???

I prefer the natural look myself but colours are fun as well :)
Wash my face with my bufpuf sponge, apply witch hazel + aspirin toner and let dry. Apply my concealer followed by my foundation. Eyeliner- waterline, tightline and eyelids. Then its a dot of white eyeshadow on the inner corners of my eyes to wake em up along with eyelash curling and several swipes of mascara. Next is a bit of bronzer/blush. Lastly, just a touch of gloss or lipbalm with a shimmery opal lipstick in the centre of my lips for depth.
Lol, that took some time to recall and recount.

I love using white shadow or highlighter in the corners of my eyes! It really makes them POP! I've been able (with practice) to perfectly line my waterline...but the whole tightlining..is beyond me. I've heard of the opaly lipstick in the center for depth trick..just haven't tried it yet. Thanks!

Well I don't really wear makeup unless I am going to meet a client, or if I am going to a special event. When i do that it's just the basic Concealer, Foundation, powder, and then I do eye make up with dramatic eyeshadow. But if I am feeling ugly and feel like dressing up some, i just do the concealer, foundation, powder, and then I will curl my eyelashes but not put any makeup on. I'm too lazy for any of it! In my picture, I am wearing very light make up because I didn't know we were going out, but usually I wear less than what's in my picture.

I'm lazy alot of days too. You look great in your pic by the way!
Some days I wish I could blink my eyes and have it all done.
