We have been known to care for sick and injured animals in our house no matter how disliked the animal is with everything from field mice to seagulls our latest edition is a baby hedgehog who was found on a garden in the middle of the day and very porly, the children who found him realised he was ill and told a adult who rang me,it amazes me that i have had hedge hogs brought to me that have been burnt and kicked buy adluts but these childrens one goal was to save the hog even to the point of finding a slug and placing it beside him:) it turns out he had either left mum to early or she had been killed and he was starving slowly to death,he also had a bad tummy caused more likely than not some one giving him bread and milk this poisons hogs as they cant diest cows milk and makes them very poorly anyway to cut the story short hes ok and putting on weight and will be released next spring i was wondering if you have ever rescued a animal and what happened to it?
