I decided I didn't like him early on when he said he chose to do his show over private practice because he did not want to deal with people day in and day out. Well why go into psychology then? The Money? or the People? So he lost my respect. Oprah made him what he is. :-(+

I will admit that Dr Phil can get a bit annoying..he can come across as cocky and a know-it-all. All in all though, I think he is a very smart and talented man and I enjoy the show. He always seems to have interesting topics on and I will often learn a thing or two during each episode. Did you see the one where he put a bunch of haters in the same house and they had to do things for eachother? For example: there was a white man there who hated black people and visa versa, a skinny girl who hated fat people and visa versa, etc. I thought it was a brilliant idea for a show...hopefully taught the world a few things.

I'm really not a fan of his at all. I haven't watched his show in several years and think he is very arrogant.
