Has anyone else been paying attention to this??? It's crazy...Maple Leaf has recalled deli meat from all the way back to the beginning of june! It's contaminated with something that's made tons of people sick and has already killed more the 10 people...And they're expecting more deaths in the near future..Apparently the symptons don't start anywhere from 3 - 90 days after eating the deli meat! It's scary to say the least, because Maple Leaf actually produces other brand names of meat as well such as "Shneiders", "No Name" and a huge list of others that I can't think of right now, at least 15...I work in a grocery store and we had a big meeting about it today...Luckily (for me anyway) the only people that have died from this so far have been the elderly, and children of a very young age...And people that were already sick I think too...Thinking back, I can't even remember the last time I ate one of these products personaly, but I wouldn't doubt it was within the last 90 days, that's for sure...Maple Leaf also distributes deli meat to restaurants like McDonald's, Subway and many more...Hopefully this scare blows over soon, time will tell I guess...

I had not heard of this latest incident with food recall. Do you know what the symptoms are? Is there a website that would possibly list the other brand names that they sell their meats under? The only lunch meat I buy is from the store deli, but even though it is not the Maple Leaf brand name on it, it still could be produced by them. What are of the country is this effecting? Thanks for sharing this information.
