Any newbies out there.......?

I started out last night too, so far i find everyone friendly and warm, this site has a lot of materials for discussion as well, and above all they pay you to talk, something we dont see much in our present world

Hey newbie, how are you? I too am a newbie, a two day newbie!! From what I've experienced so far, this place is great. You can participate in any discussion and I guess there's always something to say, great place to share your ideas! I guess the sound advice is too keep them posts coming!!! Good luck! Andrew

Hi LHenson, Welcome to myLot. I've been here for about a year and a half, and there are some really wonderful people here. I've made some very good friends. When I first started, I had no idea what I was doing, as I'd never joined a site like this either. It really doesn't take that long to get used to things though, and I'm sure you'll soon become familiar with the format etc. One thing I can suggest, is to make sure you read the 'myLot guidelines,' so that you'll have an idea as to what's expected of the members. There can be confusion regarding these though, but just do your best, and I'm sure you'll be fine. Happy myLotting.

It has really helped a lot of people, and some members are now telling other members to go read them. I promise it will explain things to you very easily and clear up a lot of confusion about myLot. Welcome to Mylot. I may not be new, but I'm sure I could help you with the tips department. My first suggestion would be to not think about your payout. Some people are only concerned with the cash and not fully enjoying everything this site was to offer. And then they complain when their needs aren't met. Believe me, time will fly by very fast here.

As you can see from all of my post I have been here awhile. People on here are pretty nice, but you will have those few that will challenge you.

Well let me first say welcome to this forum and I know you will have a great time here like most of us do. And second I see a lot of newbies here with 100 post or less even though post count dosnt really make you a newbie because they could of gotten that many post in a day.

Hi LHenson, Yep I am a newbie also, I came in the first of the week. I don't have any tips really, I am still learning the ropes myself. I do suggest just have fun and post on the discussions that you find interesting or know something about. Don't be afraid to ask questions or ask for people to be on your friends list. There are a lot of really nice and helpful people here, with expertise in many fields, and they all seem more than willing to go that extra step to help you find your place in this large, mostly happy community of communicators. So my tip is just relax and enjoy yourself, get to know your neighbors and if you make a little as you do, so much the better!! Happy Mylotting!

Hello LHenson and welcome to myLot my friend. I'm a newbie out here too as i just joined 4 days backs. But it wouldn't look that way because i have been here the whole day long posting Hehehe... I'm addicted t this site. For the tips i could just say be active on the community, respond to peoples posts, start new discussions withing the interests threads and try referring more people over here. That would increase your earnings. And yup as you said i actually like the place now a lot rather than just being paid. Its fun to be over here. Enjoy your stay at myLot and have fun buddy

Hi,I too am pretty much a noob here.:) The general vibe I get from mylot is that people start of here to make money and slowly get integrated into the wonderful system and money becomes a secondary issue. I am here for fun more than the money. My general feeling was that it will be fun and I will get paid for it. I am still to open any discussion and am amazed at the creativity of the people in opening so many new and amazing decisions. Will open some discussion when I find a topic i feel is good enough to discuss. Maybe I will make some more friends then.:D cheers.

Hi, Yes I am a MyLot newbie! I joined about half an hour ago and already love it! It's just buzzing with people waiting to have discussions with you, and that is absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to get properly involved with discussions here, by all accounts it shouldn't be too long before I reach the amount that I need to get paid by the site! Good luck as a user!

Read the terms and read the guidelines. That way you won't post any discussions that might get deleted. yep, they delete certain kinds of discussions and then you lose the earnings from that. Always respond to the people who respond to your discussions. Site etiquette. Go and respond to other people's discussions too and they will come visit yours. Feel free to disagree with anything anybody says on here, but do it respectfully and politely. Rate people honestly (that's what the plus and minus signs are for). And always, always give the best response to me. Just kidding. But seriously, after you are satisfied that you've gotten as many responses to a discussion as you are comfortable with, give somebody a best response on it. Good luck.

I am fairly new myself I came here for the money too after I awhile I come to love the site for what it is, fun, exciting, informative, social etc. I have made many friends here. I felt ignored when I first joined and I was told the key is to make many friends, make interesting discussions, respond to your friends discussion and they will return the favor and respond to yours. It is a lot of nice people here that will help you in every aspect on this site. I wish you an abundance of luck and happy MyLot (ing).
