i used to go to class once a week and do self-practice once a week. now that i have more time, i go to class 4x a week. i've only been going for nearly 11 months, i guess i have mastered the more basic ones. although i know there are still some subtle improvements that can be done. the most difficult i've recently learned is the wheel (chakrasana) - it was difficult for me because the first time i encountered it, i didn't have enough arm strength to lift myself up.

I am a senior who has been doing Yoga for 35 years. I practice Yoga early in the morning 6 days a week for 45 minutes. I have mastered many asanas, such as the Backward Bend, Full Lotus, Spinal Twist, Flamingo Fling, Forward Bend, and many more. Yoga will teach you how to slow your mind, and look within. It stretches your muscles and lubricates your joints. Live a long and healthy life with Yoga!

Hi, I am not doing yoga but interested to learn. I read it somewhere you should do yoga under the supervision of an epxerienced Teacher. You have to learn it properly after that you can start practice. But my opinion is we can learn it from books and can practice also. I am thinking to start like this. Thanks.
