Secret - How you define them?

I just replied a post asking do you keep your friend's secret, and i come with this topic. As we know, secret are something important, right? How do you define them as Secret? Do you ever meet situations like sometimes when your friend tell you something they think are secrets, but they didn't mention it is a secret, and you tell others because your friend did not tell you that's a secret? Had you ever meet any situation like that? Please don't hesitate to share. =)
