How do you stay happy at work?

How can you possibly get the most out of the job you are currently in if it is always in the back of your mind that there is something out there bigger and better?? If there is something better then go do it! Either that or give what you DO have today everything you've got! I realize I am being blunt but I have employees myself that sometimes say the same thing. My answer is simple; if you think that there is something better for you out there then go and do it! People have an uncanny habit of finding fault in what they do yet make no move whatsoever to change it! I am happy in my own job yes. Why? Because it IS what I make of it. What you think and feel is what you draw to you in life.

I'm quite happy at my work. The reasons being that i have been a relatively large amount of freedom at my work. The freedom of course relates to planning,new opportunities and some critical business decisions. There are times that things may seem dull, moreso during the lean periods, but those are the times the mind is working extra trying to come up with new ideas. So I suppose this is how i stay happy here.

Its really hard to stay happy at work when you know that there's a lot of better opportunies to go to specially when you don't have passion / love on the career you are doing. So I think first you must settle on what is your priority and try to determine what makes you happy and contented. after doing that try to find what can make you happy and stay there and forget about other opporutnities that may come to you.

I think you are one of those lucky person who many many times receive a better job with better salary like my brother is. Well, the only reason that keep me stay with current job is this job is the only job available to me at the moment, um about 4 years actually... I don't love my job, but I guess I just trying to enjoy it in many ways - like when there's no job available, i try to log in to mylot or other sites, just browsing away to keep my mind fresh.

i am a college student,i do not have my work so far,and my real work is studying now.i am interested in studying.my tutor told me,if you want to happy in you work ,you must have interest in your work.come on.you can to train your interest in your own work.if you can not,i sugest you to find a job you like.good luck to you .
