Does your company have air-conditioning? What if it doesn't work suddenly?

Well, it's summer here and il fait chaud. It's lucky for us to have great air-conditioning all day long. However, it didn't work this whole morning. Even the flower in the offfice is withered. I can't help thinking: What was the life like before the air-conditioning was invented? I can't even think under this temperature, no mentioning working.
So, does your company have air-conditioning? What if it doesn't work...

My workplace does not have an airconditioner. Although it is fairly hot especially in summers, I'm kinda used to it. In fact one part of my workplace is kept warmer than the other rooms for technical reasons and I need to spend about half an hour a day there - dont mind it a lot.

Hi there dorothy822!
We do not really need air-conditioners in the office. We are in a city where it's rather cold the whole year round. We do not really need heaters as the temperature here does not warrant one. In short, it's not too cold nor too hot here.
Well, just in case I work in a company where the air-conditioning unit is not working, I would make do with whatever is available until they get to repair or replace the air-con.

It's great to know you're working in such a nice area, and I envy yuo~ I don't like AC at all.

I want to go home~but the other area in the company doesn't have this peoblems. So I have to take it and continue to work~

My office has two airconditioners... but i rarely turn it on... mainly because we are trying to save on electricity... and i am the only one in the office... i just use the electric fan... but nowadays... since it is always raining and it is not that hot... i don't even turn on the electric fan...
I remeber during the summer... the heat was so unbearable that i was forced to turn on the airconditioning... but only for one hour...

I believe I'm the kind of guy who can't bear heat at all. May god bless me that I could finally find my peace in Polar-area.

My office is fully airconditioned. We have 24hrs generator bakup, so no issue of staying away without AC.

Our Ac stops because of the machanism problems, not becasue we black out.

No probs my office is well established and has AC as well as FAN which would be used in case of AC failure.

I carry a fan (I mean the small one that you can wave by yourself) with me in case the accident happen~~

We have air-conditioning as well. Fortunatley we have a small office which is very well ventilated. So if the AC stops working,we switch on the fans and open the windows. The Ac is used for a maximum of 2 months in a year, mainly due to the climatic conditions.

We use the AC(Thanks for using this AC here so I could learn to use this abbrivation, it's really tired to type the whole world out without a mistake,haha) almost all around the year because there is no ventilation equipment. So if AC stops, it's terrible.
