does our wish comes true ..if we had a fast??

hey...
well many of my friends keeps a fast(will not eat any thing),so that their wish comes true or what so ever they want ..
once i said my friend if ill keep fast regularly 1 day in a week,
will my wish come true..?
he smiled ....n said nothing..
have u ever kept a fast..?
do u believe on such things..?

hi there,
doing fasting regularly is good to maintain our health. that's what i know. i won't directly influence our wish coming true.
well, if you wish something, you need to make effort to get your wish materialized. you need to focus on what your wish, think it with a single focused mind. the stronger your mind and concentration and will, the faster it get materialized. well i think fasting play its role in this part. doing fasting, we can keep our mind focused and our mental power stronger (i am not talking about occult power, just an ordinary mental power like concentration). you know when we are fasting, our energy is not consumed by our digestion, hence our mind get more energy to work.
anyway, it is not advised to use our mental power and mental energy, our focused mind to attain worldly stuffs.
