My son,as he says, had a wonderful childhod. In highschool 12 grade ,he got in with the wrong group of friends and got into drugs very heavily. He barely graduated. The his life kept going downhill. He became an alcoholic and drug addict. We moved to Florida, and the kids came with us.(My youngest doesn't have a problem ,just the oldest) My son continued getting into trouble down here drinking and driving, then they took his liscence away and he got caught driving without his liscence and of course he was drunk. Last fall He went to jail and in our ongoing search for finding help for him,we found metamorphasis, This is a long term drug and alcuhol therapy program where the person lives right on campus and gets one on one treatment. I found this through his lawyer and his lawyer,PO and judge aggreed after hearing his past, that this was the right thing for him. All those years,I though he was going to die and there wasn't anything I could do about it and finally god has answered my prayers. Will you all pray for him please? His Name Is Cori Reese. He is a great kid when he is sober and not on drugs. Thankyou everyone.

I'll definitely be thinking healthy, positive thoughts for him (and your entire family). Addiction is a difficult thing to overcome, but I hope he manages! With the amount of support it sounds like he has and will have through that program, I'll bet he's clean soon. Much luck to him and to your family

Yes it is a hard thing to overcome. Thankgod we are a very close loving family. On our first visit to metamorphasis (we were able to visit for 10 min.) He said 90% of the people there had no one visiting and no outside support. I thank the long closeness we have always had with both sides of the family for that, the moms dads, aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, ect we have a very large family and I'm so happy no one in the family has given up on him. And I pray for the people who have no support, everyone who is going through anything hard needs some kind of family support. Thank you everyone for your prayers. On my next visit I am taking a list with your names on it and telling him that all these people are praying for him. He will be so grateful. Thank you all for your support.

Cori is a beautiful child. See how well he has metamorphosed. Trust me, it's not easy. It requires inner strength. He will be in my prayers. And I am sure he will overcome the downs and make you the happiest.
God bless.

I will be praying for your son's addiction and for him to straighten out his life. It is good that you and the family is standing by him and getting him help. Your support will be a great importance in the recovery. It is so easy for our children to go down the wrong path, and hard for us to get them back on the right path. I am sending a prayer up to God for Cori Reese.

Let me just say you are a wonderful mother. My husband and I are both recovering addicts. There have been family members who have stood by us and some who haven't, and let me tell you, when you have someone, anyone, who is supporting you and who you know loves you even though you've done some pretty bad things, it makes all the difference. I'm so glad your son is in a good treatment program and that he has a mother like you. I will definitely keep him in my thoughts. Good luck.
