Cos I feel bad! That's why.

My day began with me feeling worried. Really really worried cos I missed THE call.
So, to make up to this feeling I totally prepared for the phone interview instead. I listed down possible questions that will be asked and I also wrote down my answers.
I opened all the files regarding my application and minimized it just in case I'll be needing to check it out during the phone interview. I spent like 4 hours preparing the Q&A's with the help of my friend via YM.
After that, I kind of fixed my blog. I also changed my address.

I changed the "myeverydayblahs" to "alltherandomness" cos the latter seemed more appropriate for my blog than the first one.
So, that's what kept me "busy" today. Feeling bad about missing THE call-- THE-internship-phone-interview-call!
It's okay to feel bad right? They might not call back again!
How about you friends? How was you day? Did you also feel bad about something?

sorry to hear that you missed the call for your internship - we can only wish that they will give you a call back.
have you tried to contact them after you missed the call?
can you explain to them what had happened?
i know there are some companies who are very particular with their time and i often do call them back or at least try to figure out how i can contact them so they know exactly what happened and not jump into a conclusion.
anyway, if things didnt work out it only means that it is not meant for you.
as far as i remember you mentioned you have a second option and maybe that is the one for you.
whatever happened, cheer up!
just hope and wait, im sure they will call you back if they really want you to be part of their team/family.

Hi jairgirl, it seems I won't be getting any call from them anymore. I waited the entire night last night until this very hour but still..I don't think they will be calling cos this is the exact time they called yesterday. I was expecting for them to call earlier or at exactly like the time they did yesterday. I guess I'll have to wait for my October interview with the other one then.

oh, can you call them or contact them through email though?
i hope they are not a very picky company who really value the time they present.
anyway, what will be your other interview on October?
is it out here still or a different country/company?
just see this experience as a learning process and know that there are much better options for you.

I tried to look for their e-mail address but I don't think they have one cos the only contact details the have on their website is their telephone number. I e-mailed the agency based in the U.S though and he replied yesterday:
"Hi Mara,
She'll call you again, I promise."
No calls until now though. I wonder when they'll call if they ever do. I can't get a good night's sleep waiting for their call.
The other interview I have on October will be the one in Dubai and it's a different company.

That's bad for u :( NOw it has to depend on your luck and how badly the company wants u to join them.. I guess they are gonna go thru your 1st 2 interviews b4 they determine whether to call u and give u a 2nd chance again..
BUt based on what u have told us in mylot, i think they are more likely to gice u a call again ^_^ hehe
If i'm u, i will surely feel very frustrated and stressed out, as i will feel that the company may think that i'm not sincere and not serious about that job at all.. And even eventually they call, i will not be able to perform as well, due to guilt..
SO, if they decide to call u again, u must do your very best and be firm ^_^ Good luck and all the best ^_^

I know, I really felt bad about it but then again it wasn't my fault that I wasn't able to answer their call cos I was taking a bath and I only saw the missed call when I stepped out of the bathroom. I didn't expect them to call at that time cos it's already 9 PM in Mississippi, way past office hours. I hope they'd still call since the agency there "promised" me they'll do.

O o that's not good, missing the call is like you are late to meet the interviewer herself. I'm not saying she will not call you back, but it is not going to look good on your file. she surely keeps record on her interviews, that's how elimination process is based on. but still you can apply for another job though. the hardest thing in employment is actually to keep it, not to get it.
anyway my day is average, not a great one but not much a problem aside that my allergy is getting worse.

No, still no call from them. My nervousness and anticipation is starting to wear off. I'm beginning to think if they'll call, they'll call, if not then I just have to focus on my Dubai interview instead of having sleepless nights waiting for their call.
