Which would you prefer? I like country living, I think the people are more friendlier, we have neighbor hood watch, we don't have much public transportation you see a taxi every now and then for some reason taxi companies don't last long. No public bus, just about everyone her drives their own cars. Neighbors help neighbors by taking the ones that don't drive places. We can grow our own fresh vegetables. I loved the good old country mornings, the wind blowing fresh air, bird chirping. and long walks. I can go on and on. But I want to give you a chance to state your choice of living.
My question is which would you prefer and why? Country or city living.

Hi Chevee,
The place you live in sound really peaceful and beautiful its nothing like waking up to the sounds of the birds chirpping and having lots of fresh air and not traffic noise. I live in the country but the town centre is 20 minutes from where I live, I can walk the other way for 10 minutes and would be in the thick woods and thats where I go and sit, its beautiful. I hate cities and big towns and too many people.

Hi Chevee,
I grew up in a Country place, I grew up being a farmer..LOL! and I love it so much but when I start working, I move in the city but still love to spend weekend in my Parents' house where we can breath a fresh air, no pollution, great place overlooking the ocean and all!
Anyway, when I will retire, I will be seeing myself in the COuntry place again!

I do live in the country now and enjoy the quiet peaceful feel of country living, but... I would love to live in New York City, if I could afford it, and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city life.. I love to be able to just hope on a bus to get to where I am going, I love all of the shops and business' located in the downtown area.. I did work for almost 20 years in downtown Knoxville and loved every minute of it.. There is so much work going on in our downtown area, refurbishing and remodeling all of the centuries old building, I love that kind of excitement.. I would love to live in one of the loft apartments, if I could afford one of them, and would love to work downtown again.. So, I guess that I cast a vote for city living..

Definately the city. I couldn't stand to stay in the countryside. I have a phobia about flys, wasps, and such like. If I go to a park I'm completely anxious about this wizzing past my ear. I end up a nervous wreck. It's horrible. For that reason I'd much rather be in the city in a flat with NO garden..lol
