I heard from a story and i wish to share with everyone here... There's an old man, sitting at the living room with his son working busy on his proposal at the dining table. The old man ask "Son, what time is it?". His son without taking his eye away from his proposal replied " 9 o'clock, dad". 5 minutes later, the old man asked again "Son, what time is it?". The son again replied "It's 9". Again the old man asked, "Son, what time is it?". The son replied "Dad, i just told you, it's 9!". After being silence for few minutes, the old man asked again, "Son, what time is it?". This time the son replied angrily, "Dad, please! I'm busy with this. I need to hand it in tomorrow!". The old man keep quiet this time and went into his room. Few years later, the old man passed away and left behind a diary on his room's table. The son flip through and stop at the page when his dad asked him what time is it... "...Tonight, Mel is busy with his proposal. I asked him what is the time for 4 times. Only 4 times, and he get angry. I still remember when he was 4 years old, almost every night he will climb on my lap when i'm doing my works and ask me non-stop what time is it. And everytime he asked, i will reply him with a smile because he is my dear son..." So, what do you think about this story? Are you like this too? Do you treat your parents like that too? Will you?

that is sad and sweet all at the same time. it makes you think about what your top concerns should be whether you are the child or parent.

I appreciate your story hear. It is quite touching to say the least. It all has to do with the attention that a child so desperately needs. I have a young son who is almost five. He craves attention and I like to give it to him. Children value our time more than anything. It isn't always material things. We have to learn to cherish our children more because they grow up so fast. I am a forty year old mother and I want to give my child some of the attention I feel that I didn't receive when I was smaller.
