Girl friends holding hands,it is adorable when you are five. But what about your 25 and above. We love all our friends.I think may be it is just a genuine sign of friendship. Is holding hands with your girlfriends a do or don't?
Are you a hand holder? Is it totally cool or is it just awkward and annoying?

Well..jinxky my dear sis,you are right..that's kinda awkward and uncomfortable..Don't let your girlfriends hold your hands when you go to some place that has a lot of lesbians and bisexuals,it is not necessarily a good idea! lol .Have a nice day Have fun and cheers..

I'm not much of a hand holder, but more to a wasit holder and a hugger.. lol =D Because sometimes our hands tend to sweat and makes it a little, eeweeee, u see.. haha =D
But guys and guys dun hold hands, but surprisingly, only a minority of guys will have a habit of holding hands will their gals.. hehe =D

hi roshand8 the only one I ever held hands with was my dear,
'deceased hubby. I am not a touchy feely sort of person and
holding hands was never comfortable for me except with my
dear hubby. that was a whole different story. He was my
best friend,my comrade, and my lover. with him I could tell
him anything and just be myself, warts and all. He just took
me the way I was, no conditions, uncondional love. hard to find
'now days.

Yes I am. It's not awkward because I had been so used to it and I'm 25 .

I don't hold hands with just my friends. To me it is more of a boyfriend/girlfriend thing, and being shy, I have only held hands with 3 ex-boyfriends... and my grandma... and one friend who is blind.
Mostly, even if they are just FRIENDS, if I saw 2 women holding hands I would assume they were lesbians (unless one was visually impaired... or a grandmother. hee hee)

my best friend and I don't normally hold hands. When we are in a weird mood we will link arms but that is the most we would do other than leaning on each other when we are sitting on the couch.

I only do hold hands with my hubby. With friends I normally hold the arm or the shoulder. I don't know that is my normal tendency. Holding hands has a special meaning to me so I only do it to the most special person in my life.

Yes I am a hand holder , I love to hold hands, It think it is sweet. Sometimes I think it is kind of awkward and a little too much if you would still hold hands tightly and won't let a person walk through, it is also impolite i think. So , still I am a hand holder and also a card holder. It is so nice to just be able to hold on to something.

Hi there roshand8
I think that at my age (37) if I was to walk down the street holding hands with my girlfriend that people would assume that we were gay! I think there is probably an age at where it is no longer acceptable as friends but I have not really thought about what age that should be! If you are gay and want to hold hands with your lover then that is of course ok. If I had a boyfriend I would still like to hold his hand in the street!

I think hand holding should be left with the couples,When I am in school me and friends used to link arms and that's the most we did but,I don't think we would hold hands.I think it is OK if you are 4 or 5 but as an adult it looks kinda gay.Thank you for sharing Humbug have a nice day have fun and cheers..
