i have watched news today and was shocked the manny pacquiao will eventually signed to fight de la hoya...yes it will be on dec 6, 2008 according to manny himself.. they agreed to fight in 147lbs...manny is now at 135lbs and DLH is now at 155lbs...for me it is a suicide if this will be legit fight others say it will be fraud fight that everythign is settled on who to win stuff like that.. suicide in a sense that manny needs not only to train himself in strategy but to help himslef gain weight and for a boxer doing both things in just short time will be very hard.... i still hope for the best to manny but really i am kinda skeptical on this...

I think manny has a big chance of winning if he trains really hard. I believe in him. He has alot of heart and is very ambitious. He still has many things to prove so I think he'll do his best. I don't think this is a fake fight because we all know how respectable both manny and oscar are. They're very professional that's why alot of people admire and love them. They wouldn't resort to that just to make money.

money might not be the biggest factor but it rings pretty well.. the last deal with 70-30 share was not push true becoz manny's team thought it will be a loose end with them, so basically it will be higher this time...they are targetting to outrecord the last fought which has an earnign of 4.3 billion pesos ($1=45pesos)...this does not include payper veiw earning... but yeah this is not all about money, this also includes pride, ambition etc.. thnks

i think even though De la hoya lost to Mayweather, De la Hoya won. and i do bealive he would have won if Mayweather had not retired. and Mayweather is FAST! And was the #1 fighter above pacquiao. De la Hoya got him pretty good. it will be close but i think "the destroyer" wont do any destroying in December.

hmmm i think the pressure is more on de la hoya toprove himself to still be best of his time in the ring and wish to have a golden curtain call as he closes this chapter of his life in the ring... nonetheless dec 6 will be makign another boxing history,,,
