monika hi. My response would depend on what bad habits your husband lies about?
In general, a man who lies from day one cannot be trusted. If they can lie about one thing, they can lie about other things.
Unless, the lies fall into the category of "little white lies." Then, there's a chance to understand his behavior.

hi dear thanks for taking interest in my problem. Yes you are right if a man is in the habit of telling lie then he can anytime tell a lie and never feel a guilt. my husband has a bad habit of smoking, drinking which he knows from the very first day that i hate these things and thats why he has been telling me lies. i asked him abt these habits after my engagement he said he doesnt.

i am not supporting the bad habits of any husband,, but before any action against him you should know the reason behind it.. most of the time the things are not right, its our responsibility to make all the things right..

I guess it is the inherent nature of men to lie. I am talking from experience as my bf used to lie to me about his bad habits too coz he thought I did not approve of them. What you need to do is sit down with your husband and talk it out-dont be judgmental. Coz then he will just feel like you are nagging him and he will keep on doing more of this. Tell him you can accept some of his bad habits but not his lying. Then slowly you can help him overcome these habits too. Take it one step at a time.
