Hi vimaal,
I always tell both my daughter that they need to do their own wash, clean their mess. I won't do it for them. unless they are sick. I'll wash my clothes and my husbands, but not their. I'll cook but they have to clean the kitchen.

hello, that was not finished, LOL! I accidentally pressed something and was able to post it! LOL!
I wash our clothes and since I was young, we always do it manually! I used to help my Mother and until we grew up, it's part of my routine! Even if there is a machine this time, but when I need to wash it by hands, I am doing it!

I have a maid who does all the washing work at our home. We have an automated IFB washing machine which is used by her for washing clothes. However clothes which need hand wash are done her seperately. On days when she is on leave then the work has to be done by me but with ifb its not that tiring a job.

I'm 21 and my mom washes our clothes, the clothes for the whole family. We dont have a helper as my mom does not like to have one. Here in my country it's okay if moms or parents washes all the clothes, so she washes them.

We have a washing machine at home, so clothes either get washe din it or my servant does the washing. But while i was studying (away from home) I used to take care of my laundry myself. It used to be really tiresome coz sometimes i would have to walk 2 blocks to get to a laundromat.

When I was single and living with my Mother, she does the laundry. When I got married and have my own home. I do the laundry now. When I don't have time I take it to the laundry service.

My wife does most of the laundry in our home, but I also help from time to time. Actually, we have also enlisted our young children, and turn "putting away laundry" into a game where they carry their clean clothing to their rooms.
It is not all that hard for us to do laundry. We have a washing machine and a dryer in our home, so it's just a matter of carrying the clothing off to the laundry room, setting the correct temperature setting, remembering to move the clothes from the washer to the dryer, and then putting the clothing away once it is dry.

vimaal,
It would be good if you wash your own clothes instead of your mother, you are old enough to wash your own clothes, try it you might enjoy it.

I am 19 too, I live in an apartment with my boyfriend. I wash all of our clothes and everything myself. I've washed my own since I was about 14.

Dang! I lived with my mother until I was 18 and I had to do my own laundry since I was 14. Now that I'm married, I wash mine, the hubby's and our 7 year old son. That's nice that your mom still does yours...but do you know how? There's going to come a time when you'll have to do it and you don't want to end up with a load of whites turning pink!
