Forum Posting: You Can Earn More Than $0.02 Per Post...

Hi I came across a post on myLot that was promoting a forum that pays $0.02 a post. I was surprised that some people were actually bowled over by it. I guess our perception is our reality. My reality is that I know there are forum owners out there that pay way more than $0.02/post. Some pay $0.10/post all the way up to $0.25/post. I've tried it and they pay. What I wanted to say is: if you're looking to earn more money by posting up on forums, it really is possible. Don't settle for $0.02 a post when there are opportunities out there that pay much more. For more info, visit my blog in my profile. I've written about paid forum posting there. (p.s.: myLot is an exception. It has a great series of forums to be a part of regardless of how much or little they pay).

Hi austere As far as I know, DP don't have a referral program so I'm not sure why they asked for that. Anyway, welcome to DP! If you get stuck anywhere, let me know and I'll try and help. take care...

really? well this really interest me.. well, not that i will leave mylot, but if i can participate in both sites then that would be a better earning for me! weee!! so guess i'll check your site in a few and see if i could possibly sign up in other forums that pays good. that's really happy if that's the case. i didnt know that there are other forums like this that pays it's contributor which exists aside from mylot.

Check often. Forum owners put requests on there frequently. With so many, the chances of you finding a forum you'd be interested in participating in are more likely. When you're entitled to start posting threads on Digital Point (after 14 days & 25 posts I think), you could also create a thread asking for forum work, listing the areas that you're interested in and stating your fee. In the meantime, my advice would be to study the Content Creation section to get more of a feel for it (that's if you want to and have the time). take care...

Yep, there are lots of forums that pay well. They aren't as busy as myLot, so they need people to come and jazz up the forum's activity. That's what I'm doing with a travel forum at the mo'. I get $0.25 per post (30 words minimum each) - limit is 4 posts per day, though. That's enough to buy one domain name a month. take care...

Hi Kenny I wasn't talking about earning on myLot. I was talking about other forum-posting ways to earn outside myLot that pay well. It can be a bit disheartening when you don't get responses to your posts. However, people are entitled to respond to what they want to respond to. If you want to get more responses, study how other people are doing it - how frequently do they post?, do they respond to other people's posts?, what's the quality of their writing?, etc. take care...

It might also help if you respond to the responses you receive in the discussions you create. take care...

Are they as fun as myLot? Some are, some aren't. How much have I earned? I don't do that much paid forum posting as I mostly spend my time writing articles and blog posting; however, of the forum posting that I have done, I've earned $24.85 in total. And, yes, they paid me - via Paypal. -------- p.s.: I'm not proposing that anyone should leave myLot. I'm just saying that if anyone out there is looking to earn some more extra money by posting on other forums, they should aim higher than $0.02/word as there are forums that pay more than that.

I was not tempted to join that paying forum which was being promoted, because I would rather spend time posting at myLot, where I earn enough to get paid every month. I know of no other forum that has such a huge range of topics that I can respond to. Also paid posting forums usually stop paying after a while, often when many members have not yet reached payout. I do know about private paid posting, and I know some people who do it through agent sites. I do it by private arrangement, but only for forums based on subjects I know something about. It would be no good me joining a sports forum or a games forum as I would have nothing to say!

Hi Thanks for adding your thoughts to the discussion. I don't do a lot of paid forum posting anymore - never really did a lot, anyway - but when I did, it was the interest in the topic that got me through. Well done again on how things are going for you. take care and have a great weekend.

I was a member of a paid forum that actually paid $0.08 per post. Unfortunately, they have closed down now, but are hoping to reopen in September. I did get paid $18 by this site, so I know that they were legit, it's just that the owner had far too much work to do on his other sites so he didn't have the time to keep the paid forum open. I can't wait to see if it returns at the same rate of pay though, obviously it would be amazing if it did! It's Chatlife.com incase any of you are interested.
