What's your fav brand/model of laptop?

I know not many people use these, but I love ACER. They are cheap and fairly reliable. Mine isn't top of the line by any means, it is really old. But I really haven't had any problems (other than one, that came in the shipping process, but they were happy to get it fixed for free and return it to me fast). They make solid machines, for low prices, and being a student, that is great for me.

I personally like Acer, but one of my frenz say that Acer is a problematic brand and it spoil very easily.. So he highly recommended me either HP or Fujitsu ^_^ BUt the laptops from the both of them are usually expensive, though it's lightweight.. haha

I enjoy my Sony Viao. It is the second one I've owned and I've found they always give good service. I work mostly on my desktop, because it is so easy to fix if any hardware gives problems - not so with the smaller parts in the laptop.

first choice is for SONY Vaio, compact model but lot of features and also powerfull. and the second is TOSHIBA :)

i tested DELL, HP and Thoshiba the best one i think and it's my opinion , the Toshiba Sattelite Pro A200 , really Great Computer when you remove Vista and you install the XP Sp2 ;)

In my eyes,Lenovo(IBM ThinkPad) is the best,I'm using R61i series now and it's comfortable for me......

Dell has the Vostro line which is just what your looking for powerful and lightweight.

My dream brand is Lenovo

im using dell 1525 laptop its really cool and better than others in way of performance but not good in gaming also a bit heavy its battery life is awesome my configs are intelcore2 duo 2.0ghz 2 gb ram 160 gb hd and 15.4 screen its good so i will recommend you about this laptop so best of luck happy mylotting

Well HP's are very nice quality... I just bought an HP Pavillion DV6000 and its working out nicely!
