Midwest

I was wondering if anyone here was from the midwest? And where specifically? I am from Indiana. I've moved around a bit but moved back to Indiana with my husband from the DC area since it was more cost effective here. So, where are you from?

I have lived in Iowa most of my life. I absolutely love life in the midwest! Neighbors look out for one another, people bend over backwards to lend a helping hand, and there is just an entirely different attitude about life here. This has become especially apparent since the flooding that occured this summer.

I can't say I know much about Iowa. I have driven through it. I believe it is a bit more rural than it is here. We live just a bit north of Indianapolis in an outlying area and it is rather busy suburban life here. I'd like it to be a bit more rural. My husband lived in LA prior to our marriage so this is slow paced for him.

I live in the beautiful Ozarks of Missouri. I was born and raised in Missouri. I lived in SE Texas for about ten years and loved it there and probably would still be there if not for Hurricane Rita. It is beautiful here, though and I am quite happy.

We have been to Branson and are planning a trip this fall to Ridgedale. I can't wait.
