Are you outgoing or somewhat of a recluse?

I am a recluse definatly. I don't like going out in crowds very much unless it is something I really want to do like going to a craft fair, or county fair. I am perfectly fine with staying at home and shopping on the internet. I try to limit my grocery trips also. I have to force myself to go to work December through April (I am a tax preparer and only work outside the home 6 months a year). I also have to force myself to go to classes in the all (for the aforementioned job). I could live like a hermit very easily. My mom and daughter are th same way, we all live together lol,the only differences is my daughter loves the mall she is 18 so of course she loves the mall.

I guess you could say that I am a little of both! There are times when you want to just curl up at home with a cup of coacoa and play on the computer. There comes a security with being at home and surrounded by your own family. As time moves on though, you just have to get out! I love to go to antique shops, so that is my escape! When I am out, I am friendly and outgoing to all strangers I encounter.

I like going to antique shops and flea markets and taking a day trip occasionally but for the most part on a daily basis I would rather just stay home and tend my seeds and garden and play with the dogs and just be home.

Good to strike a balance sometimes!

Hey sweet! I'm the same way. I hate crowds too. I have no problem staying in the house by myself. I can always find things to keep busy. Now that I have mylot I can stay in all winter and really never leave unless I have to go to the store or to an appointment. I'm temporarily disabled and if I get my full disability and am able to get some online work I can stay home and do my work here and not have to go out in the cold. That would make me very happy. With my osteoarthritis and my bad knees I'd rather stay home. I like to go out shopping with my friends once in awhile, but basically I'd rather have people just come for a visit and leave!

good luck with getting the permanent disability. I know how you feel although my main reason why I tend to be a recluse is my hearing problem. I don't hear well and do not understand what I do "hear" sometimes. I do go out to my job and classes and to get groceries and stuff and go to Home Depot things like that. On occassion we will take a daytrip somewhere but that is not often at all.I like to go fishing every once in awhile also.

I am a homebody, not sure if that makes me a recluse thou. I at times do have to force myself to go out and do things, like errands and such. However with 5 kids in the house I do like some down time so I play in a womens pool league in the winter every Sat. However I find myself less and less wanting to go out to play pool otherwise. I guess when I get older and have more peace in the home, I could easily spend almost all my time here. Which I guess I already do.. lol

I think I am a recluse lol. I would probably get along fine on a deserted island but I would be bored to tears (won't be short of water then, jk ) But I am not demophobic or anything. . I just don't particularly fancy crowds. If I need to strike a conversation with a stranger, I am perfectly up to the task of charming too.

Oh I spend time outdoors just at home not out in town and stuff. I love my garden and love to be outside taking pics of everything I grow. I am just not one for socializing.

I think I'd consider myself mainly a recluse with extrovert tendencies. *lol* Well, if asked, I *prefer* staying at home, lounging around the house, practically *live* on the internet. However, I have pretty good PR skills and am quite friendly when I *do* get out of my shell and into the real world. ;)

I am usually outgoing, but at the moment I have been a recluse because I had surgery.

I can certainly relate to frequenting craft fairs. It's one of my favorite things to do. I make and sell crafts so I really enjoy anything new made with any kind of craft when at a craft fair. My projects are made with plastic canvas. I am quite the opposite. My little job consists of serving the public. I love it. I need that human interaction and love people, places and things. I can be home for one day and am anxious to get out of here the following day. Love my house and pets but I am ready to go after being here one day. I will talk to anyone and am friendly and outgoing. Wasn't like this all my life. Had to get through those teen years and into adulthood before I realized nobody was going to hurt me or criticize what I had to say. Guess it was learning to trust. So, I am a people lover and watcher.

I'm an outgoing recluse! Mwuah. I like staying home, I like by myself...I do dislike crowds, often don't like being around people but I'm not shy, I'm perfectly fine with talking to people. I HAVE been a hermit before, lmao.

I could easily become a hermit. If my wife did not make me I would never leave the house.

I like to go out and go shopping, but I prefer to do it when there are not crowds. I tend to stay home most of the time. There are days that I do not leave the house and I am fine with it. Other days I cannot wait to get out of here. So, I guess I am kind of middle of the road.

I would say I'm outgoing, while I don't like being in large crowds either, I don't like being where there are alot of people, but if its someplace I really want to go, then I'll go. I don't like shopping either, but if its grocery shopping I'll go. I don't like staying home, I stay home all day when my husband's at work so when he's home, on the weekends, I'm always ready to go do something and get out of the house. Hey, thats alright if you like to stay home, and be a homebody, sometimes I like to just be able to stay and do nothing too. Have a good day

hmm, kinda in between but I think I'm more like a recluse person, slightly homebody. It's not like I don't want parties, crowds or going outside, but I prefer to stay at home with my family, more often. However, I also like traveling and shopping esp. with my family and friends, but not always.

Yup, I prefer staying home, rather than join the crowds! It's peaceful and blissful at home, doing my stuff - like reading, watching TV or DVDs or go online. That's how I usually spend my weekends and holidays. However I need to work, so every week from Mon-Fri, I need to do battle with the traffic jams, to reach my office and go through the routines. But when I retire, I'd definitely want to stay home, going out only to shop for groceries, and go to book-fairs and book sales!

My computer and I could live happily alone, except for hubby and the cats. I have no compelling need to shop. Need a reason to take myself to Wal Mart.My job is in the homes of disabled adults, so it is kind of like being at home.

im a home body, i feel uncomfortable in other peoples homes. i dunno just the thought that you have to ask to use the bathroom and to get food, is like going right back to school. i like being able to be in my "own" at home...im a private person.

I would have to say that I am more of a recluse now that I have had a child and have another on the way in a couple of weeks. Before I had kids I was outgoing and always with my friends at the club partying and living life like there was no tomorrow. Since I have had children I would like to think I have come to enjoy the comforts of home a lot more. I love to crochet and read and sip away at various types of herbal teas... call me a recluse call me what you will but home if where I feel I belong now!

I'm more recluse but I'm also a bit outgoing. I love hiking, strolling in the forest and music, once the opportunity present themselves for me to do these things I'm usually there. I also like going to church.
